I bought the super premium deluxe version and if they did this and they were priced really cheap, I'd be a tad annoyed. I justified it by thinking there are about four items of the 20 that I was keenly interested in and willing to pay $15 a piece for them. The rest I'll probably never even look at. If MS decides to sell these al la carte for say $5.99 each... well let's say I chose poorly.

True, I would think the ala la carte, if there is one at all, would be slightly more expensive to push customers to package deals. All speculation on my part 🙂

Yes, please.  I need a new cap to mount my TrackIR clip.

Premium is definitely worth it for what you get.

Everyone's personal opinion on worth is highly subjective.

If you are not interested in payware and want most of the extra default aircraft and airports, then another $60 on top of the standard version might indeed well be worth it.

For me, I think Orbx, Flightbeam and FlyTampa bringing their airports and PMDG bringing their Boeings to the new sim doesn't warrant me buying anything other than the MSFS standard version.

I'll be impatiently waiting for these:

I think simply because, in the regular world of gaming (not simming), deluxe/premium edition generally means you get the software + season pass (pre-paying for all foreseeable expansion content), keyring, t-shirt, etc.

Just pray that MS doesn't introduce too many modern gaming monetization schemes with MSFS, like free-to-play mechanics.

You know what's worse than airports for 30€?

Free handcrafted airports, but with landing fees.

Installation is completely free, but every time you request landing clearance, you need to input your credit card number. 😅

Hey, sounds realistic to me! 😄 That way I can fly over incredibly detailed airports and marvel at how well they are modeled then land at the nearby small airport that is MSFS default.  Which is pretty much how I do GA flight anyway. 🙂

And the best part is, you only pay for airports you actually use.

I find it weird how many people (mobile gamers) wouldn't contemplate paying £30-60 for a game, but they will download a "free" game then keep pumping money into it for extra turns, etc., which adds up to more in the long run.

I really do hate that kind of gaming model.

LOL, love it!
