I'm not saying every single one is absolutely perfect. I'm not saying London needs to be & whilst it'd be great if it looked to the same level that Manhattan does, it's just nowhere near anything i have seen. Which considering the amount i have seen & how popular/famous London is, it's very odd. Everywhere I've seen, even if not perfect has the basics right & looks very good. The geometry, the landmarks (before addons), the auto-gen buildings matching or very close to the right style & the majority even having much better satellite data. 

Its so strange.....

Orbx makes UK areas and people are willing to pay good money and praise everything to the sky. And buy add on airports for the area as well.

MSFS gives you the whole world at approximately the same or even above that level, and suddenly its ugly as sin, and something needs to be done.

There's really nothing stopping us from sticking with our old sims, but I expect now that won't make anyone happy, either....... 🤔

At a certain point, I think we seriously risk MS deciding that we simply can't be pleased, no matter what, and effectively ignoring us, while its marketing department diligently continues to blow heart-bubbles in our direction.

Noticed you edited your comment to include 'You clearly have no idea how ungrateful you are.' haha firstly, i'll again point out where i said 'I could spend the day praising the majority of this game'.

However, the game ain't free is it chump. If i'm buying a game to which the full price is $120 & they deliver a game where you can visit every major city & it look incredibly close to how it's meant to be, but then put in far less effort into one of them that they know is very popular, dp a deal with a third party dev & lock an addon for that city behind a paywall, that still doesn't fix many of the issues or bring it near the level of other cities then i have every right to criticise & question some of the technical decisions that come with buying said addon.

Just because you don't have an issue with it, doesn't mean others don't. Look around, the issue with London is being widely talked about everywhere & if anything, it'd be good to have some answers to some of the questions.

London is absolutely stunning...

...when compared to Washington, District of Columbia! The Washington Monument is a stark, black oblisk with a flat top instead of the pointy peak, Congress looks like a squashed cake made by a five year old, and there's a bloody building in the middle of the Mall, instead of the beautiful reflection pool!

Even the White House is a disaster. Honestly, Washington, DC looked better in FS2002... 

Not to be rude, but in a sense I do take offense in your focus on one single city since this is a multinational forum: You are the only one here that I see talking about it, @d25bev. Sure, if they have the time to do something about it, fine, but you dont deserve special treatment from Asobo. Not that you are excluded from the VIP list, but none of us are deserving of special treatment afaik. There are wonderful things all around the world, and there are also glitches and missing landsmarks that people are proud of in real life that are missing in MSFS.

I paid just the same amount as you did, and you don't hear me complaining.

"It looks terrible..", "It looks awful...", "The trees are too tall..", "The taxiway signs are not tall enough..."

Post-release complaints:

"The ships are too static..", "My roof is the wrong colour/color..", "There is no wing flex on the geese...", "It's always raining in Scotland..."  

I'm sorry guys, I can't see anything with these rose-tinted glasses. Why the word not allowed are all the roads pink?? This doesn't look real to me!

Seen my house (kind of); I'm in process of repaintng the roof to match the sim colour!

Yes MSFS updating the world could make some addons useless but I don't think they will focus too much on areas covered by addons especially since they get a cut of the money from their marketplace.

Have you seen Washington DC?  Most landmarks are missing.
