I’m sure after release I’ll be able to see plenty of screen shots and videos of Texas. Bonham is pretty close. The Wal*Mart is there along with the school stadium across the street. I haven't examined it very closely as I'm usually somewhere in the pattern. In any case, it all looks good. Hook Larry Hookins Oh! Actually, other than the city, the area looks really good. Bonham aka Hook That reminds me, I have to change my signature. We're not in Grapevine anymore. We're in Fort Worth.

From my window I couldn’t even see the runway lights on 13L and barely some of the lights on the new hangar adjacent to 13L. It was coming down pretty heavy but fortunately the winds weren’t too bad. Visited the SWA musesum as well....was great and it had a lot of interesting aircraft and exibits ("Love" the LearFan they have hanging on the ceiling....gotta be the only one in existance...oh and the flying pancake was cool too) Regards, Steve DraGet my paints for MSFS planes at flightsim.to here, and iFly 737s hereDownload my FSX, P3D paints at Avsim by clicking here

August 17, 20205 yr this thread is making me homesick. | Dave | I've been around for most of my life. There's always a sunset happening somewhere in the world that somebody is enjoying.
August 17, 20205 yr I'm back, yay! \o/ Internet was down for a few hours due to the storm. I think we got 1/4 inch of rain, but lots of wind for a while. Fort Worth does have one thing Dallas doesn't. A major city within 100 miles. 😄 At least Fort Worth is high res in MSFS. Let me know if you find the Tandy Center and the Water Gardens. I didn't know exactly what to look for. The keyhole building is kinda blue in P3D. The color in that pic is the color of all the generic buildings in MSFS. I haven't been downtown in years. I recall hearing Fort Worth was old money from cattle, Dallas was new money from oil and whatever they're doing there now. 🙂 I was in Dallas in 63, visited some other cities on the way to Pennsylvania on a trip in 64 and what I remember the most was how much cleaner Dallas was than other cities. August 17, 20205 yr I never lived in Dallas. Weirdest part about Dallas to me is how short all the trees look 5800X3D, 4090FE, 64GB DDR4 3600C16, Gigabyte X570S MB, EVO 970 M.2's, Alienware 3821DW and 2 22" monitors, Corsair RM1000x PSU, 360MM MSI MEG, MFG Crosswind, T16000M Stick, Boeing TCA Yoke/Throttle, Skalarki MCDU and FCU, Logitech Radio Panel/Switch Panel, Spad.Next
October 19, 20205 yr It's great to see the interest in the Dallas area. I was disappointed to see everything look so drab and/or green in the sim. I hope the upcoming US World update changes that. Airports of interest for me are T31, KTKI, F69, KADS, KDAL, KDFW, etc, etc. 🙂
