Once you connect a new peripheral and MSFS acknowledges it, it will assign certain bindings to it. That's the impression I got. Unfortunately you cannot delete with the push of a single button all bindings for a specific peripheral, the only thing you can do is to reset to default.

Actually, you can clear all bindings for a specific controller. I have a couple of controllers that I do not use for flight sim, and I was able to set up a clean profile for each with all assignments deleted. I forget what i had to do but i swear I was able to do it.

Oh yes, I agree, but I thought the question was, can you clear them all at once or do you have to do this manually one by one 🙂

For what it's worth, I also had tons of CTDs, couldn't fly longer than 10 minutes until crash and was surprised to see no forum posts about it. Then I remembered there was a new driver from NVidia (452.06). Installed it and no more in-flight CTDs so far.

MSFS is a complete POS. I'm sorry it just fails on so many levels. Totally disappointed. Flight models obviously written by a total non-pilot. Can't request a refund. Feel totally robbed!

Go select the only Iceland airport and it will crash to desktop every time, this is only one of the many fails!

You will find after doing some reading here this is a game with a lot of eye candy, for hardware that does not quite exist yet. It is just not a sim, especially the kind we are used to for recurrent training 🙂

Hopefully it will mature over time and at some point be a real simulator. Disappointing for sure, but if you spend (a lot unfortunately) of time here you will be able to add some mods and tweaks that make it flyable today. Your high powered rig is easily capable it looks like so good luck!.

Did you just go through the trouble of registering just so you could post one post to troll the product?  Looks like it.  Also looks like you have way too much time on your hands.

Well, for a kick off there are loads of Icelandic airports, inclusing all the majors and lots of small VFR fields too. And they don't crash to desktop either, because if they did, how did I get these screenshots at BIST - Stykkisholmur, and then BIRK -  Reykjavik?

As a recce I Set departure as Keflavik  and arrival as Reykjavik (To heck with the spelling!) and got a no nonsense CTD

BIKF, Keflavik, Iceland. Is a known CTD location. Since a long time.
Don't know the exact cause thought.
Anyway, report it to the Zendesk.

Maybe something has changed, but I requested a refund two days after release and got my money back on a Premium purchase.

Good luck!

For the record I joined somewhere else (don't ask) and it loaded just fine. Zendesk? LOL

Given your impressive resume of bizjet type ratings then I cannot blame you in the slightest for thinking that. Hell, when you can go and fly the real things, I suppose a home sim might very well be a let down!

However, seeing as you cannot get a refund then I guess that you should hold on to that POS and wait a few weeks or months to see what transpires; you've nothing else to lose keeping it on your PC unless you absolutely, definitely need the drive space.. 🍻

Welcome to AVSIM by the way!

He spends the time creating an impressive signature describing his impressive professional certifications and his equally impressive computer equipment just so he can troll Flight Sim and not contribute at all elsewhere?

Sorry, I don't buy it.  Cbonz77 smells like his mothers basement.

Actually, @Cbonz77 appears to be legit.

Hi Cbonz77.  I checked out your QRZ page.  Looks like some impressive stuff.

Keep in mind that MSFS isn't really made for jets at this point.  It's been optimized for new flight simmers (and gamers) who will be able to fly GA aircraft all over the world... including finding their own house.  The GA experience is actually quite good, so if you haven't tried the Cessna 152 or one of the other small craft, check them out.  Don't expect perfection, but the experience can be magical.

MSFS still has a long way to go.  It's not anywhere near finished and Asobo is still working on it.  Patches should fix a lot of problems.  Third party aircraft will give you some very good jets to fly when they become available.

Hang in there and don't give up.  And good luck.  Check back in six months or a year and I suspect you might like what you see.
