August 19, 20205 yr Looks like the majority of "not recommended" reviews are (1) People mad about the installer breaking & the fact that it counts as play time (2) People who have never flown a simulator and therefore don't understand that performance isn't necessarily going to be equivalent to what they see on other games / people who don't realize that the game is unfinished and needs work to fix glitches Can't believe the same people who say "flies great and scenery looks phenomenal" give a "not recommended" just because they see a few glitches.

August 19, 20205 yr I think we can assume MS and Asobo knew exactly what they would be getting into with Steam and a less than perfect roll-out. They had the Dovetail example, after all. It's a clear case of maximizing profit without much of a downside in the long term. They'll suffer a few refunds, but things will settle down eventually. People have short memories. August 20, 20205 yr Not surprised. Better to stick with the MS Store for this one. Already enough problems without adding another layer. Specs: Win10, 4790K, nVidia 1080ti, Saitek Yoke+Quadrant+Radio/Switch and AP panels, VRInsight 737 overhead, Virtual Avionics 737 MCP. 3 x 1440*900 main display + 1024*600 VDU display. NLR V3 Motion seat. Oculus DK2 CV1 HTC Vive VR headsets.

August 20, 20205 yr I think it shows how many people will buy everything/anything knowing that they'll get a refund provided they adhere to the refund policy. The glitch in the system caught them short and now they're on the hook for the $$ and it's painful for them. August 20, 20205 yr Steam reviews are currently 63 percent positive. nearly all negatives are install issues which is fair (for steam I guess, no issue for me installing from MS)

What idiots, could've gotten the game for $1 with Game Pass. - Currently giving X-Plane 12.10 a spin on Shadow PC. 10 years with X-Plane now, since 10.20
