Has anyone been successful in making TrackIR work with FS 2020?

Yes. You need to update your game profile from within TIT and it will work just finie.

Yes. It works very well.

The only problem I have is that TrackIR software doesn't seem to have the MSFS in the title list so I can't associate my custom profile with MSFS. TrackIR seems to fall back to default profile whenever I start MSFS. It's fixable by selecting the custom profile in TrackIR after launching the MSFS. A marginal inconvenience that I hope to be solved by TrackIR future updates.

Yep, I have the same issue. But minor one at that.

Otherwise it works well in MSFS.

Not at my flight system  - it listed under Flight Simulator 2020 or simiilar. Look closely for the 2020 - but it's NOT MSFS or Microsoft Flight Simulator.

This is assuming you updated your game profiles.

Thanks! I was looking through titles starting with "Microsoft..". It could be just "Flight Simulator 2020".

Just want to add that TrackIR listed MSFS as "Flight Simulator 2020" in their profile list. Associating it with custom profile worked great.

I haven’t used my TrackIR in almost 2 years as I didn’t find it enjoyable in P3D. Today I installed it in MSFS2020 and I’m simply blown away on how well it works. I will be using it every flight.

If trackir blows you away I can't imagine what VR will do for you.

Does it work well if your fps is around 20?

At this point, it would probably get me divorced...

Mine actually works better than it did in P3D 4.5

Also quite curious, I've never used a TrackIR before but I have one on the way. My FPS is pretty high but it bops around a fair bit and can result in some light stutters over large towns etc. How does TrackIR react to those kind of situations?

Intel Core i7 8700k clocked to 4.6GHz, GTX1080Ti, 32GB DDR4 RAM, MSFS installed on NVMe drive, Windows 11, Dell 27" 60Hz Monitor + Dell 24" 60Hz Monitor. Resolution 1920x1080. Game Mode on, GPU scheduling enabled (Win11). MSFS settings: High-End for airlines, Ultra for GA.

If your fps drops too much, TrackIR will be slower to move.  There isn't a delay, it just moves slower.  Not generally a problem.  If you get a stutter long enough to look like a pause, TrackIR freezes.  Again, not generally a problem.
