August 22, 20205 yr For those of you who have FS2020 working smoothly and feel that there's something missing, what is it? I was one of the unfortunate ones who could not get decent performance with my i7 2600K, Titan Pascal, 32GIGS of RAM, SSD, and 1080P monitor. Does FS2020 has what was missing on all previous sims, or just another platform that needs a lot of work and 3rd party support? Jose MSFS
August 22, 20205 yr Oh boy, this list could get big quick. I'll start with metric altimetry/weight/volume! How was this omitted? I'll leave the rest up to others.
August 22, 20205 yr There remains alot of room for improvement and additions ofcourse, for me, i would like to see 1) Replay mode 2) Metric units 3) Saving custom landmarks (areas) of your choosing. 4) Addition of radio towers / power lines etc. 5) Water masking and texture, (Does not look like anything from the trailers). 6) Fix autopilots 7) improve performance

August 22, 20205 yr Feature-wise, a replay mode. MFS will reach its full status as a simulator when a replay mode is implemented. August 22, 20205 yr On the optimistic side before I would upgrade FSX/P3d all of the "essentials" would need to be ready or I'd hold off (FSUIPC,ActiveSky,Chaseplane,Traffic package etc) I'm enjoying MSFS2020 as is even with what will be listed here in this thread as lacking; IMO that's worth noting. I don't care for the unrealistic "Crash" when you over speed in a dive for .5 seconds. I do miss not having Air Hauler and more complex aircraft. Edited August 22, 20205 yr by Blaze RE Thomason Jr.
August 22, 20205 yr Also remember, it's widely acknowledged the sim was released 3-6 months before it was ready. Most of the really bad omissions/broken items will get fixed within this time frame.

I don't pan much because I use track IR but I did program one of the hat switches on my Gladiator stick to Pan the view with. August 22, 20205 yr I'm not craving anything at all currently, as it's all here as default for my purposes. I just muck around in GA with bush flying, so I'm like a pig in s poo. I might look at a nicely modelled Cub if one came up. I'm getting smooth, stable performance, with no messing, tweaking or fiddling, and that is a first, so, if I never spent another penny on this I would be content. 19 minutes ago, KERNEL32 said: As I suspected from screenshots all along CLOUD SHADOWS are missing! What! there are cloud shadows 🙂 Don't know where you got that idea from. Edited August 22, 20205 yr by Novation
August 22, 20205 yr I miss the display of airspaces in the Garmins. Or am I missing something? Cheers, Bert AMD Ryzen 5900X, 32 GB RAM, RTX 3080 Ti, Windows 11 Home 64 bit, MSFS 2024
