That is amazing considering how long the massive dbase of airports has been around. I'm shocked most gate/ramp locations are missing even on big terminals. August 22, 20205 yr When I first heard it could be installed for Xbox players, I cringed. I thought this new MS FS product would be somewhat "dumbed-down" for a much younger age group who probably were never really that interested in flight sim except for combat scenarios. Then I saw the first videos from Asobo and those that followed, and all the promising updates. I was really excited and optimistic. But now: Meh. I think It's going to take many months of work by the Asobo team to include missing features, and to fix all the bugs for most of us to say "This is finally the sim I've been waiting for"!

Yep, I'm noticing it in FSeconomy, the crazy thing is that the navaids for those airports are there in many occasions, the satellite image is showing the runways and buildings are 3d modeled, but the AP is not on the map. August 22, 20205 yr What’s missing........? Patience from a good many. Considering it is basically day one, it is an extraordinary product all ready. And it will only get better and grow. No sim has come this good out of the box. Personally, I am waiting for VR. But it’ll come in due course 🙂 5950X, RTX3090, 32GB@3600, Samsung Evo NVME 1TB, Warthog HOTAS, MFG Crosswinds, Reverb G2.

August 22, 20205 yr In case nobody has mentioned it already: I looked around among the default files, and there is a folder for the clouds and they have Altocumulus, Altostratus, Cumulonimbus Calvus, Cumulonimbus Incus, Cumulus Congestus, Cumulus Humilis, Cumulus Mediocris, Towering Cumulus, Nimbostratus, Stratocumulus and Stratus. What is missing are Cirrus, Cirrocumulus and Cirrostratus.

August 22, 20205 yr 1) At least the option to download the Ortho at a higher res, heck I'd even pay a small monthly fee to do so. 2) Lightning bolts close up looks like someone created them in MS paint with a 100 pixel brush 3) Precipitation is unrealistically light, even flying into a mass of thunderstorms sometimes there is no rain, or very light rain 4) Water sometimes looks very grainy and has a shimmering line like effect over the waves when flying at certain angles 5) Moving Maps, Fix Plane RPM and basic Climb/Descend Physics (worse on some than others) 6) Everything else people already named previously... Maybe this make sense to somebody, but I certainly haven't ever been directed to do this. I did get even, though. Since I couldn't figure out what to do, I switched to full AI control of the aircraft. Otto indeed did an ILS 01 approach perfectly until right after he intersected the glideslope. At that point he put the gear down and the aircraft went 90 degree nose down and crashed. I suppose I'll read about on the evening news.
