September 16, 20205 yr Hi there, I was wondering where the majority of simmers go to check all the available addons (freeware and payware) I started with https://www.msfsaddons.org/ then I found https://flightsim.to/#result-page-3 and now https://www.nexusmods.com/microsoftflightsimulator It is currently a royal pain to go check each one of them so I was wondering if there is a single website which have all addons in one place? Thank you
September 16, 20205 yr I find your 2nd reccommendation the best for layout and updates. I seem to be plaugued with adverts on both the others, really annoying Edited September 16, 20205 yr by Steve_Ellis FS PC - AMD7900X3D / MSI RTX 4090 24gb / 32gb Ram / Varjo Aero / Bravo Quadrant / Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog / Yoke / TPR Pedals UK Skytours - http://www.ukskytours.co.uk
September 16, 20205 yr I really like the second as well for the layout, the changelog roadmap and the frequent updates. There are photogrammetry scenaries in there from Tuscany, my region, so that keeps me even more interested 🙂 Chock 1.1: "The only thing that whines louder than a jet engine is a flight simmer."
September 16, 20205 yr You have the top three there. 👍 Unfortunately, as some have mods that others don't, you will always have to do the rounds if you want to keep up. But that's the fun of the internet! 😁 There are also a few Reddit pages that you can follow for the odd update and useful information that doesn't make it to the above pages. You will find them if you search. Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). Thank you Thats all part of the fun, free choice.. There are quite a few sim sites that I look at daily. Especially the forums. Each tend to have a slightly different outlook on simming, from classics to modern. So, dont be lazy & spent some time finding those gems. Better an open market place than a single market.. September 16, 20205 yr Nexus has a daily cap. I don't like sites where I need to join, only to be limited unless I pay. MSFS

Thank you I thought the Avsim library would be re-spawned as the central repositary.

September 16, 20205 yr Well that's the point. I think the flightsim community is now much more expansive than it used to be, and many don't even know about Avsim - or don't like it.

Well, Flightsim.com had their first MSFS add-on on the 22nd August!! & you are suggesting that Avsimmers must tell the whole sim community that Avsim should be the central repository for MSFS add-ons? This, especially that last part. I'd love to be wrong, but I'm pretty confident that the Avsim library is going to be a bit player when it comes to the FS2020 ecosystem. There are lots of folks who don't come here who aren't going to use the avsim library just because it used to be the main place to go, and there are already strong alternatives cropping up that *are* seeing heavy use. Of the leading crop of sites I like flightsim.to the best. They're more focused than nexusmods and have a less annoying website. msfsaddons.org is kinda spammy and information-sparse, plus you can't subscribe to individual mods like you can the others. The release radar at cruiselevel.de is pretty good, too. Edited September 16, 20205 yr by kaosfere
