Is ATIS reporting correct wind data, dew point and barometric pressure after the “Start weather synthesis” button is pressed? There is a weird oddity that occurs at start, but once the aircraft starts to move it kicks in. Reed StoughManaging PartnerREX SIMULATIONS website: www.rexsimulations.comsupport: www.rexaxis.com

September 26, 20205 yr Funny enough, my Favorite Airports (a nice feature on the starting screen that showed the weather at your fav airports) stopped working with the third launch of the program. And it has problems when you jump to a new phase of the flight. It just doesn't react to this. Apart from this, it works very nice.

September 26, 20205 yr Ah I figured it out. The installer in the store is wrong. They have the correct link on REX discord. The file 8MB vs 2MB for the one in the store.

It reads you have to go back to FSX days of weather redraw not to have large FPS drops. If you guys could report more on this please. I have bought most of REX products but am still well on the fence as I find the default live weather great with no transitions problems looks or FPS wise. And when moving from one METAR station to another the weather transitions globally to the weather of that METAR station. That would mean that the weather would look the same up to the horizon in each direction which would be a major step backwards from the default weather which is so immersive because you can see different weather in every direction up to 200 miles away. Lol, sounds like the typical "smoke and mirrors" of REX, all sparkly UI but no real substance. 🤷♂️ Asobo brings MSFS weather into the 21st century and REX takes it back into the dark ages. 🤦♂️ The honeymoon period with REX will be short, people will soon understand what's really going on. Bring on the reviews! Matthew S
