You have angered Thor with this comment.

I had lightning and thunder, too, during a flight in the Melboune area yesterday. Live weather was pretty clear so this certainly was inappropriate.

Kind regards, Michael

And Thor can stop any plane from flying simply by leaving his hammer laying inside......

Man, as a 3PD, it makes me so happy to know mediocrity is so accepted by this community.

Its not accepted. There is excessive lightning and it has been pointed out. There's even a voteable, constructive thread about it in the msfs forums.  Its all about how you present your issues and how it will be responded to.

I think you may be in the wrong thread.  I am getting no indication whatsoever, that the lightning issue is being looked at as acceptable (mediocre or not)

Admittedly, there has been some jocularity in here, but none of it is denigrating, denying or accepting the actual issue.

I would have thought, looking back through our brief history with MS/Asobo, that there is demonstrable anti-mediocrity comment otherwise.  IMO, people are wanting fixes to a large range of problems and that is on a platform which is far from mediocre.

Could you possibly point out how you are getting the quoted impression please>

Facts like the founder of Asobo literally saying there's over 120 people there working on it? lol

We reject Asobo's reality and substitute with our own, apparently. 🤔

Maybe its because this sim has so much potential?

This. Flying in my area, westcoast BC, Thunderstorms the whole way. Switched to fly down on the Mexican coast... lightning... everywhere lightning lol. Also, I can't believe that thunder is that loud inside a jet... actually, I know it is not.

120 people working 35-hour weeks.....

Some people are sensitive to strobing/flashing lights and loud sounds.  There should be an option to disable the thunder and lightning as an Accessibility option.
