Based on what I know of game development, I'd be willing to bet $5 that the devs at Asobo are currently crunching much more than 35 hours a week, and it's probably been that way for months.  My guess is a lot of them are working closer to 60 hours a week.

Go look at Seb in that Q&A video last week.  That the face of a man who hasn't been sleeping much for a while.

There is a temporary one. Set your sim to the clear sky's preset.

They could have just rolled back whatever the half-assed changed was that they added in 1.9.3.  I get that's too much to ask, because they need to check all the boxes for whatever their scammy lying marketing is going to be for the XBox version.

Ah, I was wondering why I was hearing lightning everywhere... including in mostly clear weather. Just thought it was a weird glitch. Good to know it's at least a confirmed bug.

It sounds like Asobo are dealing with what HiFi dealt with for a number of years and the reason they had to build a suppress thunderstorm when CB reported or something of the like feature.  I don't remember exactly but do remember sitting on the tarmac in clear weather with thunder and lightning until that feature was developed...

Who said you had to neuter all other aspects of the weather?

Simply choose another preset that approximates the weather you see out the window, customize the weather yourself or choose one of the 3rd party addons as a temporary workaround.

You have a weather engine that can be infinitely customized, yet are unwilling to take advantage of it.

But I guess you’d rather stand in the pouring rain screaming at God that you’re getting wet.
