The votes don't matter, because everything we vote for just gets assigned to 'backlog'.  It's just a way to placate people.

Exactly, with full crash detection, that bird wouldn't be flying again in a hurry. But then neither would the suspended flight crew or the terrified passengers! I reckon the airframe and wing roots would be in a pretty shabby state too with all that juggling about before touchdown.

well in the instance of the press any key,,, enough people upvoted that to get it removed so they are somewhat responsive,,, I think based on difficulty

A quick look at their dev snapshots would make it pretty clear that "votes" aren't the deciding factor in the priority of stuff being worked on, because the things "Started" or "Under Investigation" are all over the place on those lists.

If votes were the deciding factor, they'd be working from top to bottom.

Seems pretty obvious to me that the voting system is just to bring widely encountered bugs and issues to their attention organically (by the people encountering those issues voting them up).

I also expect there's stuff being worked on that isn't in those lists at all, since those snapsots are just threads from the forum, to let people know the status of "popular" pet issues.

what didn't exist before was any lightning.  when they added the lightning, (1.9.3) it was everywhere.

The timing sucks for me - I could probably start it, but I'd be interrupted soon after and be able (in theory) to re-join for the last hour. Just wondering if there's any way I could spawn where everyone is at that point? Presumably there's be a relative mass of aircraft showing up on the world map in flight selection. I could load the flight plan and look along the route till I saw that group of planes, yes?

It would be my first group flight (other than an impromptu catch and chase I did with a random person when we happened to be in the same place at the same time).

Lol 😂 they used to quote us alot before the release and honestly i used to like it and would love for them to continue to show some once again that they do read what we discuss here .
