November 30, 20205 yr Perfect update. Clouds look so much better and less pixelated. Departed from a foggy and overcast Stockholm and it transitioned nicely from the fog layer through the clouds. November 30, 20205 yr I too think it is much better compared to the RC3 version of ASP3D. Now I like it much better. What LM needs to solve is grid at overcast and orange/red skies and clouds at dawn and dusk. Also at high cloud draw distances the clouds are way to high at horizon. They must match earth instead of rising in the air so high. Marcus Regards, Marcus P.

Marcus So no need to adjust values in volumetric cloud cfg?? in asp3d shall it be checked or unchecked? thanks mike Edited November 30, 20205 yr by mikeymike

Checked if you want P3D uses his volumetricclouds.cfg (this is the same where you can edit values). No need to tweak at the moment I think because ASP3D handles it very well so far. Regards, Marcus P.
November 30, 20205 yr I'm totally dissapointed with this soft clouds update. At my taste the clouds has turned extremely soft. Please HifiSimtech don't be so soft with clouds. Cheers

Ok, so the verdict is unchecked ? and delete the volumetric cfg and let it rebuild as I do atm have the tweaks in the cfg as advised in previous posts thanks mike Edited November 30, 20205 yr by mikeymike

We understand this is not ideal for everyone. You can adjust this fortunately, and we will be looking to provide tools for users to adjust easily to their preference in the future. 16 minutes ago, mikeymike said: Ok, so the verdict is unchecked ? That is recommended for now, but if you don't like it, go ahead and check it and try default or adjust the values.. there are a few examples recently posted here in this forum. November 30, 20205 yr Looking forward to trying RC4...I was impressed with what was done with RC3. Are CB clouds possible with EA?? I wasn't sure if it was capable of doing thunderstorms or not.... Hi, Thanks for your help. Could you help me about how could I adjust this settings please? Maybe I didn't understood at all if you were referring that next version will provide tools for easy adjustments or if currently we can tweak it. Regards Richard
