Facts? Also why didn't Carenado pull their product until fix is issued from marketplace?

Read the forum. They admitted they need to do better with updates and product releases!! What do you mean facts? Read it!! What is these days with people and screaming FACTS!! Like get off the fact checker bandwagon, open your eyes and read! God stop the world I want to get off! They cant even get their updates on the store let alone pull off products. Stop being on a crusade to defend this rubbish at every turn. Read the from post I linked for your facts!

I fully expect a "This post is disputed" from you next! OMG..

I have read this post. This is completely different story. I pitched for this approach for months. Laminar have been doing it for years.

Mind you to say that Mooney has been broken already for several patches while free community mod been patched day, two after each patch break stuff. When Carenado released their products early knowing that SDK still at work they know what they sign up for - that is a fact.

If you happy with the way Carenado handle business good for you. Rest of us have a right to be frustrated.

I'm not happy with any of it. But ultimately this is all on ASOBO. there are scenery from premier Devs that CTD too. The problem isn't the Devs building stuff. Carendo is partner, ASOBO went to them.  Now because the SIM was released in such a state it needs updating it breaks things. They give the update to MS/ASOBO but it never gets pushed out. What can Carendo do.

Everything add-on for msfs is going to suffer until they fix the core issues in the SIM. But also we are users are eating it up defending it's terrible parts in places because "it's got the best graphics" maybe they should just stop updating it, stop the mostly money grabbing add-ons I mean why buy big airports what you going to fly into them? Some half baked A320 747 787 or biz jet that may or may not even get there, is totally unrealistic all real world IFR goes out the window, curved way points, mods to fix basics which then lol your FPS etc.

.Am I happy? Far from it, I feel cheated by msfs, but I can't lay blame on a company that have been enticed by ASOBO to build add-ons and then due to ASOBO or ms being slow having their name dragged through the mud.

ASOBO know very well all the add-on planes on the market are broken, yet they don't remove them. Carendo have no control what do you want them to do. Personally I would tell ms ASOBO to stick it and sell on simmarket or orbx. The long-EZ has been updated 3 weeks ago on simmarket and orbx but nothing on the in game Store... Why? Because it's a joke.

.Im back in X-Plane with my True Earth, high fidelity add-ons and mods etc. Does it look as good, not always...but does it fly? Yes and them some...and that's the most important thing when flight simming.

Fix their broken airplanes, maybe...  They were partners with Asobo from the beginning, and right now, they do not look too good..  🤔

I have to wonder what being a "Partner" with MS/Asobo means, really.

Honeycomb is a "Partner" and there is still the issues where the 'on/on' switches on their controls (or any other controls with the same arrangement, as Honeycomb employees like to point out on this and other forums) cause the heading bug and other bugs to only increment in large increments.  This has been present since before release, even though MS sent out Honeycomb hardware to the YouTube reviewers  influencers that they had hype the sim pre-launch.  They even touted 'full compatibility' in the recent Partner video.

Textron Aviation is a "Partner", and the representation of their business jets in the sim is....completely wrong...and there are major issues with at least the Bonanza as well.

You'd think being a "Partner" would actually mean something, that in 7 updates a few lines of code breaking your hardware could get fixed, or that as the first company releasing 3rd party content on the Marketplace you'd get priority for your patches for aircraft people have already bought over approving new content, or that it would mean the representation of the basic aspects of your aircraft like cruise speed and range would be correct.....

I think being a "Partner" means Asobo makes a video advertising a "Partners" stuff, and the "Partner" only says good things about MSFS, and that is about it.  It's a "you rub my back I rub yours" arrangement for advertising and marketing only, with no guarantee of technical interchange.

I know I shouldn't but...Ok genius, since Asobo has 'owned up' and seeing as Carenado 'sent them patches last year...I mean last week' in conjunction with Asobo deploying many products and product patches to the Market in the last several days exactly what did they screw up now?  Exactly.  They've committed to improving and look, they already have.  Meanwhile Fernando Herrera and crew certainly sent nothing of the sort to Asobo or it would have been published.  Unless....

Asobo secretly has entered into an insidious arrangement with the many other second rate developers like PMDG, Aerosoft, Milviz, etc. to bring down the granddaddy of all addon developers: Carenado!

<ok you can clean up the spray on your monitors now, I've made my point>

So your reasoning was what again did Asobo do to hurt Carenado and the many suckers who purchased their aircraft for MSFS??

I agree; they should not continue to sell these aircraft in the marketplace whilst they are broken.  However, they seem to say they are now fixed but MS/Asobo are not posting them to to marketplace due to 'holidays'.

So, in any case, even if Carenado asked MS/Asobo to pull their products from the marketplace, judging by the amount of delay in MS/Asobo doing this, it would take some time, and they should be fixed by then.

If Carenado say they have sent the fixes, I believe them, as it would be easy for Asobo to come out and say this isn't true, and they haven't.  it fact, the DID apologise for breaking them.

All I know is between them, this whole marketplace / partnership thing is turning into a crock of (insert word here), and a very poor customer experience.  Shame on both of them.

Fraud - is this correct definition for the current situation and product state or we should wait one month more? 😂

Like many, I want to see ASOBO succeed. Like many I tried to help them even before the sim was released.

They mislead the public and that's dangerous for MS and ASOBO. They are taking customers money and not providing the services they promised.

I'm tired of excuses. I don't want a refund for the sim and all the add-ons I've already purchased. I just want a basic working sim that doesn't brake after every update.

Don't blame us for being suckers. We believed what we were sold.

MSFS

The right thing to do is to greyed-out the planes in the marketplace until they are fixed, I think neither Asobo nor Carenado are to blame for this mess, I think it is Microsoft and their embarrassingly slow handling of approving patches that is the main problem.

May be...yes. Miscrosoft will think that patches contain viruses... when they are themselves the virus that spoils everything, for its ineptitude and slowness

Well smart word not allowed. I think the post speaks for it's self. Carendo submit the update, ASOBO do not release it. Why? I don't care about any the Devs or ASOBO, I've no loyalty to either. But blaming the Dev the because msasobo don't release patches is pretty thick.

The sim is a joke, ASOBO is a joke, they don't listen they want inept fan Bois playing the game, they have done nothing to address any of the core issues, it's all eye candy and influencers on YouTube. We will never see anything but pretty screen shots, nobody talks about anything remotely realistic in msfs because nothing is. Hopefully in a year maybe after the oil rigs of the gulf Mexico update, or ridge lines of South Africa update, or the Botswana update or the daffodils of Dover or squirrel in a tree updates we might actually get some core issues fixed and maybe just maybe the updates for the OR2

Yeah... they've heavily relied on this guy I know @Bert Pieke to make Chicken Salad out of Chicken $%!T in the past.  Wonder where he is now?
