Tried different resolutions even 1080 and still 10 FPS with 7862Gigs of GPU memory used. If that is the case then we may need a 16GB video card in the future. I will keep messing around but is is an awesome scenery even though I cant use it and for the cost of two drinks at a bar I can still check it out. These developers must be porting over these airports as they are done very quickly and are half the price. I am not complaining but just curious how they release them so quickly compared to original development that took years and now everything is half price witch logically tells me they didnt have to spend as much time to convert to MSFS. Anyway my two cents if anyone has a solution I am all ears. Shayne Ouch almost 8GB of VRAM...!!! Gonna be much worse when MSFS Switches to DX12! Oh well... I better get a 24GB VRAM Card before DX12 comes and the dreaded CTD's due to OOM VRAM card issues! Chris Camp
December 13, 20205 yr Here's an optional night lighting patch they just posted also:http://www.flytampa.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=14306 "This patch is enhancing the night lighting for Las Vegas. It will add thousands more light sources with increased viewing distance. It is entirely optional, but please note that it required at least medium settings on texture resolution, and a fairly decent anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering settings to look at its best. Slight artefacts are possible if settings are fairly low. To install, unzip and drop the 'flytampa-lasvegas-citylights' into your community folder (please ask if unsure where this is located)" Edited December 13, 20205 yr by Jeff Nielsen Jeff D. Is there an "Optional" part of the install for the enhanced night lighting or only this patch? and Once installed via the patch how do you go back to the stock night lighting if it effects your frames considerably? I remember there used to be a Fly Tampa configurator that would allow you to adjust the settings for all of their scenery? I looked in the install folders and did not see it... Does the FT configurator for their other sim sceneries work with this new scenery? Edited December 13, 20205 yr by Kilo60 Chris Camp

December 13, 20205 yr My performance is bad in the daytime. Slightly better at night but still testing. It performs like a port over versus a fresh build. I'm a bit disappointed. Left a message on the FlyTampa forums about the performance issue. Hopefully they find a fix. Once this goes to XBox, all of these devs are going to make a killing. Why do you think the price point on everything out there is so competitive? They wouldn't be able to make a sale on a $40 airport, not a chance, as a matter of fact I think the pricing will get even lower when this goes to XBox. Don't worry about the devs, they'll be just fine. Edited December 13, 20205 yr by Drumcode Jacek G. I am sure there's a vetting process that eliminates shenanigans of this nature in the process. If you haven't already as was suggested in an earlier post pull the airport scenery folder out of your community folder (with the sim closed of course). Reboot your machine and see if performance is ok. That is what I did and my big performance issues are gone. Easy to see the issues lie in either the airport scenery itself, or with both installed for some folks. Its not a solution of course, but at least narrowing down the problems. Besides...I spent 3 seconds at the airport in my Savage Cub...as long as it took to takeoff from the ramp and head to the strip. 🙂 Getting solid 30-40 frames now whereas before...10 maybe and the nausea and headache to go along with watching that for more than a minute. EDIT: If you want to see the strip without a slideshow, try what I suggest above and let us know if it worked for you. 47FPS, very smooth, and what a shot! (the Mirage laser beam needs to go away in the daytime though, hehe) Edited December 13, 20205 yr by Steve Dra Regards, Steve DraGet my paints for MSFS planes at flightsim.to here, and iFly 737s hereDownload my FSX, P3D paints at Avsim by clicking here
December 13, 20205 yr Well they definitely need a configurator more than ever on this one with options you can adjust depending on your system and performance! I recall using their configurator with their P3D airports to adjust for visuals an Ai amount, depending on your FPS... Edited December 13, 20205 yr by Kilo60 Chris Camp

(the Mirage laser beam needs to go away in the daytime though, hehe) Thanks Steve. I fall back in the reasoning of 'what's the point without the airport'. Having the Signature ramp right by the strip the a VIP flight in with the Longitude or CJ4 is what it's all about. That being said it's nice to know it's been narrowed down to the airport. I'll test and see what I get. Not sure if FlyTampa's trying to get away with a port over but I hope they get this sorted out.
