Free livery for all 30 planes Christmas gift

Featured Replies

Wow, these are amazing. I remember fondly as a young boy standing on top of Heathrow's only terminal (at the time) watching the planes arriving and taking off and admiring the advertising plastered all over them.

(Sarcasm off) Now we can can admire 30 planes in our simulator with liveries that look nothing like real life. What a shame the man hours that must have been spent developing these liveries were not spent on doing something more attractive.

Will anybody on here actually use them?

Well it's a freebie.  Take or leave I guess.  In my case happy to take...along with the mandatory updates / fixes.

I must admit though that I'm getting impatient for some actual airline liveries which I feel was an omission and should have been available out of the box.  Even just a few airline ones for the big jets for example.  I know there's third party ones out there but I wish there were even a couple of good stock ones included with the shipping application.

Marketplace, filter out "Free Content" then "download & buy"

Actually guys and girls, I like the MSFS themed liveries.  It gives us another choice for some of those really off the wall liveries and with zero effort to install them.  Thanks Asobo.

Ray

I'll be using the Alpha/Beta tester one if I'm not doing a 'real' flight. I.E. just cruising around VFR or testing a scenery.

Also sad fact one of the users on Livery Mega Pack found out, the 'Flight Simulator' text (on the 747 at least, I assume the 787 as well and maybe the other planes) is modelled onto the aircraft, it's not a texture. That's how they got around the mirrored UV map instead of just you know, changing it to not be mirrored.

I won't be happy until all real world traffic has real world liveries and I can fly a Ryanair 737-800 and an Easyjet A319 or A320.  I'm sure it will all happen in time, but for now, I am marvelling in the great simulator we have and happy that developement is continuing apace.

never ever, I'd rather go back to P3D/XPLANE: the ugliest liveries I have ever seen. not on my airplanes!

AMD 7800X3D, Windows 11, Gigabyte X670 AORUS Elite AX Motherboard, 64GB DDR5 G.SKILL Trident Z5 NEO RGB (AMD Expo), RTX 4090,  Samsung 980 PRO M.2 NVMe SSD 2 TB PCIe 4.0, Samsung 980 PRO M.2 NVMe SSD 1 TB PCIe 4.0, 4K resolution 50" TV @60Hz, VR: Pimax Crystal Light + HP Reverb G2 @ 90 Hz, Honeycomb Bravo Throttle Quadrant, be quiet 1000W PSU, Noctua NH-U12S chromax.black air cooler.

60-130 fps. no CPU overclocking.

very nice.

Can't wait for this. They're working on getting packages out as permission rolls in from the authors, so hopefully that speeds up the initial release a bit.

For a commercial product, this would never and will never be the case.

Logo and liveries are specific to the corporations and will not be marketed by others unless by special case by case arrangement.  Some like Delta will never allow this and have stated that.
