January 3, 20215 yr 2020 really sucked and these guys worked hard from home to deliver a truly magnificent platform for the next generation of flight simulation which has given many of us some welcomed relief from all that has gone on. Thank you Asobo!
January 3, 20215 yr Thank you Asobo for your diligent work and being so committed. Happy new years to the entire team and also a big thank you for giving us the most amazing flight sim ever! Looking forward to the next 10+ years to see it's potential! January 3, 20215 yr Author There's a hilarious 5 seconds or so where everyone around Seb and Martial are waving and smiling, and they are both there absolutely stone faced lol. Also.... Lionel sighting! Edited January 3, 20215 yr by Scottoest
January 3, 20215 yr King Friday (Martial) never smiles because he is a puppet. The Burger King always smiles for the same reason. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Crystal Light VR.
January 3, 20215 yr Great people doing great things! thank you Flight simulator, for rescue me from "no-illusionland"
January 3, 20215 yr "Making this the most *accurate* and *best* sim possible" Nice to hear the messages 'best and accurate sim' as opposed to fun or game. Hopefully going forward they stay true to this and we get more accuracy! Also interesting is/are the rigs in the backgrounds - all small(er) dual monitor setups. No large curved screens. No big sims just dual dev machines. Wonder what they use for reference then? Edited January 3, 20215 yr by Flyfaster_MTN002 SAR Pilot. Flight Sim'ing since the beginning.
January 3, 20215 yr Thanks Asobo and Happy New Year. You created one of the best pieces of software in my life time! Keep up the good work! Greetings from Canada. Most of what is said on the Internet may be the same thing they shovel on the regular basis at the local barn.
January 3, 20215 yr Happy to see that Lionel is still around! Side note, Asobo has quite a big list of open MFS jobs, some of them posted very recently Any takers? French language does not seem to be a mandatory requirement any longer

January 3, 20215 yr Yeah, thanks ASOBO - now will you please stop deliberately breaking stuff in your Sim because of commercial pressure from MS. Happy New Year.

I think one reason they dropped the french language requirement, if I recall French was mandatory. But honestly these days is getting bit tricky to find good software engineers, so yeah relaxing the language requirement makes sense though. If I was a C++ guy I would be happy to apply though 😛 AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, 64GB DDR5 6000MHZ RAM, RX7900XT, FreeSync 165hz 1440p display
