So did it work?

I understand what Choke said..that is selecting a star and runway. but sometime you have to muscle in the freq my way, It should work if his doesn't  i.e, t if you can get the ILS freq from the internet.

Dillon,

Yesterday when I requested the AA livery guy to do this for the 737, he blew me off saying , he won''t buy this 737 and I then I copy pasted the request to few liveries developers who did the A320. But the admin on that forum, deleting all my requests saying, I was Spamming. LOL:)

So I am now delighted we got all these liveries like 15 of em today. 🙂

Manny, can you look out the side the VC windows and see the wing tips?  Just wondering.

I cannot see the wings at all from the cockpit. Not even the wing tips. am I supposed to? Is it important? hmmm.

I was just wondering.  You should be able to see the wingtip from the cockpit.  Later FSX models start getting this right and now it's standard. A detail like this is left out and your back in the early FSX/FS9 days when too many polygons prevented them from doing this (or so they said).  I was hoping this little detail was there with this model as today it's pretty much standard in a decent add-on airliner.  If you can see it in the real world you see it in the VC.

EDIT: Your screen shot is not looking back toward the wings.  You can't see the wingtip in the cockpit by just looking left...🧐🙃

Chok mentioned the Engine fins were not right on the 737 and I went, What? Like I would even know. :P: 🙂

And some folks mentioned the 737 buttons were stolen from the A320 and now you mention this.

I am an old timer who don't notice or care for such details. I just need a good flight model, an eye candy that tells me its a  737 and not an A320. Yes, I can tell. and the it can track the Magenta all the way from departure, enoute and STAR and ILS, VNAV etc. I am a happy camper. And yeah..Night lighting. I love that stuff more than even realistic  engine start procedures.. 🙂

You have to move the view a bit, but you can indeed see the wingtips from the cockpit.

I pulled back once to see the window frame. Other then that I went max using the mouse as far as I could.

Chok is right. I admit I am a troglodyte. I  had to use the left arrow key a bit and almost move outside the aircraft for this shot. 🙂

Hope that would convince you  to buy it Dillon.  😝

Pass that stuff around!!! 🙂

It’s may sound odd... but look in the library for Randazzo’s early freeware... you have to start somewhere!

I remember using his  Boeing 747 in FS 5.1 / FS98...  it wasn’t Avsim, it was Flightsim, but I remember that early work.

Great. I'm thinking about buy it.  I'm just not into airliners yet until the AI get's the 'Flight1 Ultimate Traffic' treatment with airliners parked at proper gates at the international airports.  I just knew if you couldn't see the wingtips from the cockpit of a 2021 release there's a serious problem in modeling.  Certain items/features are just standard now.

Just keep in mind it's a 20 quid airliner which lets you fly around in MSFS being fairly realistic within the realms of what MSFS can do ATC-wise, and with somewhat limited switch-flipping, and you won't be disappointed.

If someone releases a 'decent' BBJ livery (one without allot of side windows like a VIP would have) I'll dive in.  Can't justify an airliner at this point without the environment an airliner should operate in.
