The stock aircraft in MSFS work out to $4, as people on this forum has been pointing out for months now whenever people say that the Asobo aircraft could be better - so why should I pay $20 for something with less content to it then one of those? Because if you want it, that's what the person is charging for it, so it's the price of entry. But nobody says you should buy it, that's entirely up to you. We can compare things to this or that but at the end of the day what people charge for anything and everything stands or falls on whether people pay it. I can put a 50 quid price tag on a turnip but it doesn't mean I'll sell it. Clearly lots of people have decided they will pay 20 quid for this thing, so it appears the price was right based on the simmarket sales stats chart. I suspect this is largely because that's not a lot of pennies as well as the fact that it's different from the dearth of GA singles we've seen, but like everything, it's not compulsory and anything is worth what you are prepared to pay for it and whether you have the money to do so. I might similarly say why should I buy the Lionheart TB21 when I've got a Mooney M20R? which is very similar in performance and price, and the answer is, as it is with everything we buy, because I wanted to. A more accurate comparison would be between a mars bar and, well, another mars bar. The latter being shinier, gold-plated, with a few extra bells and whistles, kind of like a Hermés Birkin handbag.
February 11, 20215 yr Actually, last time I was in Paris I saw the prices on the Champs-Elysees and though f--- that; besides, if you walk up past the Arc de Triomphe there's a Subway up the street on the other side of the square where it's two Euros for a big sandwich. Yup! Giros sans frites are my go to while in Paris to not break the bank... and I’ve had awful food on the Champs-Elysees, so price alone doesn’t dictate quality!

February 11, 20215 yr Amazing, how these people are reviewing this aircraft without even flying it, and seeing how it works. can’t believe how they drone on about the 3D model coming from another source. Why is that so bad, if they built a nice platform, and they license it for use, its better than starting off square one if you don’t have to reinvent the wheel. The thing needs some help in the cockpit, not sure why they picked the mix and match of colors in the overhead panel, they could of went with one solid color for the metal panels. But it flies nice, and works, the animations are nice with the exterior doors for baggage, and its a good start if they continue to mod this, or others mod the aircraft The fact that they took the displays out of the 787, is exactly what Boeing did when they developed the Max, with Rockwell Collins the manufacturer. it was their intent to have everything in the same location for for transition of pilots between the NG planes. - Aviation Today “Cockpit displays power innovation on Boeing 737 Max” April 6, 2016. Interesting article on the aircraft if you have time to read it, I really like flying this thing, its not perfect, has some weird knobs from an airbus, and such, but it could be fixed by mods, Image from Article on Rockwell Collins displays Edited February 11, 20215 yr by karlz added image

I just cant do it with the converted models though. Something about these model imports it to me just seems unrefined. February 11, 20215 yr @Manny the main aircraft.cfg file does show that it's enabled to be in the AI air traffic, I would check the individual liveries as well - depending on the loading order a livery with the isairtraffic=0 may be able to prevent AI spawns. It's really rather pathetic; most of us have paid more than that in the past for a bit of airport scenery, let alone an airliner for the simulator. Some people really need to lighten up. Liking a cheap and cheerful flight sim add-on with a price tag that is only a bit more than I've paid to park my car at Blackpool for a day out on occasion, does not mean we're some kind of digital traitors to the cause of realisitic flight sim add-ons, nor does it mean we won't welcome fancier add-ons when they come. These are probably the two most accurate paragraphs in all... now 37 pages... of this folderol. It sometimes feels like a lot of folks around here live to find things to get worked into a lather about without any pause to think about how absurd it makes them look.
February 12, 20215 yr Of course from now on everybody has to like everything! That is why there is a forum so everybody agrees on everything 🤪 Personally I think why this is a big topic is because a lot of folks hoped that there are finally coming some decent airliner products for MSFS! That is why I bought it but also ..... immediately deinstalled it..... It is frustrating that we are waiting for another world update but the SDK is still not fixed. Instead our only option is to buy this kind of cheap toys! And last: If this is setting the new standard for MSFS addons, thanks I’ll pass! Everybody can enjoy flying and buying whatever they want, nothing wrong with that. Also nothing wrong with having a opinion about something....... Edited February 12, 20215 yr by rob0203

Yep, food there is usually deep frozen, ready to serve dish, made in factories, it's a lot easier and more profitable for restaurant. Not that bad but you won't be coming back, It's not really worth the price. What about you, do you prefer that, or meal cooked by a chef, with fresh product and the bill is often the same price?
