What about you, do you prefer that, or meal cooked by a chef, with fresh product and the bill is often the same price?

My father actually was a chef and I grew up around chef’s all my life... so I guess that answers the question.

But you know how it it your in Paris, you’re doing the tourist thing, you want to impress the wife... so you pay too much!

Some of the best food I have had, other than home, has been at house get togethers with friends that cook really well and street food!

I once had a shrimp hamburger (yes a burger patty made out of shrimp) with a chipotle mayonnaise and cabbage on a garlic buttered bun from a street cart in Punta Mita, Nayarit, Mexico north of Puerto Vallarta that to this day I have never found a taste like that, delicious!!!

Keen to see thqt same energy when a reputable dev studio soils the bed with a release, surprised they have not crucified carenado for its default system depth attached to their syandard pricing.

It's obvious the video creator doesn't even own the product.  This isn't a true review.  Just a grand deal of slanted "muh flight sim 737 feels".  Why show the Simmarket page during the entire video?  (Hint...he doesn't own the 737 Max.  He has nothing else to show.)  If you don't own it, or have even tried your friend's version, what is the true agenda here?

The agenda is 'quick, make a video on the current hot topic to get views on youtube to make money and get subscribers', as it is with many flight sim channels.

Buyer beware - this is the same company that released the terrible Eurofighter Typhoon!

I've seen a lot of people complaining about the Eurofigther Typhoon. While I can see what people mean by lack of polish and a good number of the controls not labelled or functioning, the actual aircraft is really fun to fly. Apart from the barely working F14 this is the only plane that can reach 1300 knots. Is it really that bad?

Basically what I'm saying is at least for me I've had a blast with it, and I don't think it's as bad as some people are making it out to be. If you want a jet that goes fast, it's perfect for that.

I missed this in my 32 page read yesterday! What is so amazing, as has been mentioned, this channel never even purchased the plane. He simply heard it was bad from other channels and continued to say the same without any first hand knowledge. And then the vast majority of comments thank the channel for the advice and continue the thread of negativity based on the video saying it was bad. This is just so wrong in principal regardless of whether you do or don’t believe this aircraft is worthy for your hangar.

I whipped up a conversion of a popular freeware FSX Avro CF-105 Arrow in about 15 minutes with the legacy importer for free. It goes fast, and the avionics panel is as realistic as the one in the Typhoon  😉.  The model actually looks pretty good from the outside in the MSFS rendering engine.

So why pay $20....

Because most of us don’t have the skill, the inclination nor the time...

$20 worth of my time is not much by comparison.

This addon is bad because it doesn’t even meet the low bar set by the default aircraft. Visually, it looks worse than anything else you get out of the box. Avionics? He just smooshed the 787 and -8 together. This is not worth $20. It’s not worth $10. It’s the pump-and-dump scheme that we all expected when a new platform came out.

Maybe a more objective review from someone who bought it.

3rd one down here (the one from 2016): https://simviation.com/1/search?submit=1&keywords=Avro+Arrow&x=0&y=0

Note that you end up with a totally blank panel - it's still a hoot to fly though.  I did the 'full import' which uses the Modern flight model.

I've also been emailing with the original author of the 3D model, so maybe more on this later (since I think people should have fun to fly jets without paying $20).

True, a somewhat balanced review, but the guy lost me completely at the end when he started whining about how this developer dare come into "our" flight sim community and sell this adon. "Our" community? Ha ha. Some people. The developer IS part of the flight sim community.

This community is made up of everyone and doesn't need to be lectured by some Politburo on what "we" should buy or not.

I have been flying that all over tonight in VR in my 737 Max, stopping at airports, doing the baggage, fuel, catering trucks, boarding gate, reprogramming FMS to next airport, flying auto pilot to next one.

It is my new favorite plane, and love the Qantas Livery!!!

They are missing out on a very flyable plane, with even more potential with some updates.
