Keep in mind that the livery on the engine cowling is reversed on the inner side, which means it may be limited in what liveries can be done, but, there is an aircraft config file in the folder, which I assume means there is nothing stopping people from messing with it, and it will go in Air Hauler 2 as well with no problems I presume because of that.

Yes!!

I’ll admit I’m intrigued, but I always like planes that come with a variety of liveries and/or have a paint kit that allows talented individuals to create nice liveries.

My buddy flies these for real for Southwest and I like showing him screenshots of me re-creating what he gets paid to do. 🙂

That's the problem I have with this.  If people buy these thrown together junk add-ons then we will keep getting more thrown together junk add-ons.

So what!?  You're statement is only relevant if you're forced to buy these 'thrown together junk add-ons.'  Also, are you new to flight simming?  These types of add-ons have produced for the last 3 decades.  FS9, FSX and P3D had the F-Lite, CLS, Virtucol, Abacus. etc models; yet, it no impact on the PMDG, FSL and Majestic market.  The auto industry pumps out millions of cheap cars each year, but the BMZ, Mercedes and Audi of the world continue to survive.  One has no relevance to the other as thier competing in different markets...

Matt King

What a neat surprise. I was dubious at first, but if it can fly a STAR without losing LNAV tracking it's already ahead of other addons. I'm gonna give it a whirl. Wish me luck.

Take-offs are optional, landings are mandatory.
The only time you have too much fuel is when you're on fire.
To make a small fortune in aviation you must start with a large fortune.

There's nothing less important than the runway behind you and the altitude above you.
It's better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air, than in the air wishing you were on the ground.

If the same aircraft was provided by ASOBO we would all be cheering them for it. 🙂

1. Systems? FMC fairly complete, can load a default plan or will let you do it manually, all the perf, index, cruise settings, derate, picking the runway etc, V speeds etc work, can use SIDs STARs and transitions and can follow VNAV and LNAV on the autopilot. Weather radar works, wipers work, power buses work and so on. A fair bit of the central pedestal is non functional though in terms of clicking, but it does auto-fill the Squawk code when ATC give it you. The PFDs have a fair bit of functionality, not everything, but plenty to mess with.

2. APU? Yup, you can crank that.

3. Engine start? You can do it manually or use control+E, fuel cut off levers work for shutting down.

4. RNAV IAN? It'll do vertical and lateral navigation, dunno about much more of the fancy stuff. It does show the airport on the PFDs, so you can taxy in fog.

5. ILS autoland? It'll do an ILS approach, certainly down to fifty feet, dunno if it'll go all the way. Autoland is for pussies anyway.

6. Sounds? Engine sounds are okay, it does V-speed announcements, overspeed clacking etc.

7. Flight model? Flight model is nice, it's fun to hand fly and easy to land, but it will happily use the Saitek/Logitech hardware autopilot if you are a pussy who can't fly properly.

FPS is okay.

And for those of you who use Air Hauler, it costs £4.752 million to lease it per month and £38.016 million to buy it, so it can easily pay for itself on a scheduled passenger timetable.

OK. I did a very short flight I took off from KDFW 18L and landed ILS on 18R of KDFW

No cold start. Engine running already. the Flight plan came over from the MSFS into the 737. But the ILS frequency did not. I had to type it in manually (minor inconvenience). First impression. I love it.I am excited. Now I want liveries for this. For $23 (Eur 19) its a steal ... Again based on first impression. I am sure I will find issues as we did deeper.  the weather radar works, the terrain works.

the VC is not a hack from ASOBO's 787 absolutely not. Not sure how these guys did it. Its a unique 737 VC where the buttons seem to work for the most part. Against quick and short experience.

The A/T doesn't shut off when the wheels hit the tarmac. I had to use the already programmed button on my MS joystick to make that happen, just like I have to do when landing the ASOBO 's 787.Compare these screenshot with the Asobo's 787 for yourself.

Sounds good, maybe the textures are the worst feature.

If you choose an RNAV approach in the FMC, the runway info will appear on the PFD as you near airport. You then press APP button and you will get FAC (final approach course) and G/P (glide path). The rest is like flying an ILS (LOC, G/S). It's pretty cool on Zibo.
