737 MAX Released for MSFS 2020 at Simmarket

Recommended Posts

Bought this also, it's not perfect but it is just what this new sim needs, more airliners! I believe even this addon will evolve despite being not study level. Now some updates into this and liveries!

If you choose an RNAV approach in the FMC, the runway info will appear on the PFD as you near airport. You then press APP button and you will get FAC (final approach course) and G/P (glide path). The rest is like flying an ILS (LOC, G/S). It's pretty cool on Zibo.

Not just RNAV. IAN works for any approach (rnav, VOR, NDB, LOC etc) that has a glideslope coded into the 737 FMS database. Hence the letter "i" as in Integrated...

Bought it. Thanks for the heads up.  For twenty quid it's just the cost of an airport so what's to loose?

Can any one please tell me if Simmarket email when there is an update available or do you have to keep logging on to check?

They said they E Mail you and i did get some Mail for Update some scenreys i bought there, but if it works all the time i am not shure.

But i think we will find out for the Updates..

cheers 🙂

Realize this, of course the most common is RNAV.

Someone should convert the stock FSX 737 (allowed per MS's Game Content Usage Rules) using the Modern flight model as freeware to tide people over....and steer them away from things like this.  Ugh.  The product page is like comedy.

I actually was planning such a thing. I have plans to make a simple freeware 737 (NG) using default MSFS systems (autopilot etc.) but with custom flight model and avionics until PMDG 737 is out. Sadly I am terrible at modeling & texturing, so I can only do the systems part. Is there a 737 model (with textures) I can freely use for that purpose?

Interesting. I was expecting much worse from the topic and unknown reputation.

Can anyone expand on how functional the FMC is for editing routes?   Can you add a DTO to LSK1?   Delete or add a waypoint?  In other words, is it vatsim worthy.

There's something odd I notice by looking at the product pictures and your first reports and screenshots. While the cockpit seems to match with the reputation of the meanwhile well known developer (merging existing avionics of the base sim to other models) and I am willing to give him credit for obviously gaining more expierience with that (yet it still looks a bit patched together), the exterior and interior model seems to be a different story: modeling and texturing is looking pretty professional, so I assume it's a port from an exisiting model and I am wondering about IPR here.

Oh boy look how desperate we are for a 737 😅. I can't image how much $$ PMDG will make from of the NG once is released to MSFS.

Gonna be a lot less now!

but if 25$ is ok for this plane and it sells, we will see CRJ level for 50-60$ and PMDG/FSLABS for 120-150$

looks like a good craft, as long as it has a working LNAV and VNAV functionality, I can see myself putting some hours into it, the Airbus is fun but its just not the same as a Boeing.

I enjoy nither! Also making MSFS "mickey mouse" add on sim is not a good precedent.

Precedent for what? It's $20, and from Chock's Review I gather it's quite decent. I don't fly airliners anymore, but if I did, I'd buy this.

Come to think of it, MSFS is Mickey mouse. Or did I miss something and MSFS 2020 suddenly on the list of FAA approved training devices?
