737 MAX Released for MSFS 2020 at Simmarket

Featured Replies

So seems the bought the external and cockpit model on turbosquid, but what about the gauges and systems from the MSFS B787, do they have the right to do that, and sell it to simmers who did not buy MSFS Deluxe?

20 quid well spent, I’ll get more than £20 worth of fun out of it. Wasn’t expecting much, so got more than expected. Hopefully the income it generates will encourage the dev to develop it more. Hand flys pretty easy, approach was enjoyable, does struggle to loose speed tho, I’m sure that will be an easy fix.

Some Rando puts out a you tube. He is not the "official reviewer". Why not go to SimMarket and read the review from "Verified purchasers"? That's the real review ..not some posts from Internet trolls. Ye I call it unfair and uninformed cause I have the product and I am looking at it and the panel is Not Ugly. What the Heck. That review was just like the people on the first page of this thread. Uninformedf and unfair.  I stand by what I said. And who made him the "Reviewer"? I believe my own eyes. I've been simming for over 20 years and I have owned PMDG 737s from the first one in FS9.

You can disagree with the conclusion of his review but it seems like you're moving the goal post to define a "reviewer" as someone who conforms with your opinion of the product. And you say the verified purchasers on SimMarket on the real reviews--ok, should we ignore your reviews? I can't really tell if you're a "verified" purchaser.

The text reads

The painting kit comes with blender project!
if you want your livery to be included in the original project send back us the entire zipped folder with png files!
We will include the best liveries with the creator's name.

sure ignore mine here.. But I still suggest you read the reviews at SimMarket though since they only post reviews from people bought the product and not some rando on the internet.  Chock and myself could be just some rando troll on the internet. You can never tell.

Isn't that a thing with the 737 in general?

hmm, thats actually a really good question this one. Are we positive its 787 tho? If yes, troubles might be heading the devs way.

Aren't people allowed to leverage the sim's G1000/G3000 from the sim on their aircraft?  That would apply to freeware developers too.

Yes, but here it's something from the deluxe edition and they are not freeware

Also what about the payware addon, how much can they use in term of code, sounds, animation, etc... from base MSFS planes? here it seems to be a lot

Hmmm..So we can't use the analog gauges from the 172 either.

Interesting point. Lets see what MS Says.

I have found the problem why I wasn't seeing anything on the AP gauges - there was a clash with the FBW A320 I had installed. I thought it was bit weird when the load screens while you wait for the plane to load before flight had the text about the Airbus. Having removed the FBW mod they became 737 Max specific and the AP gauges were alive and kicking. I have to say that I am very impressed with this release.

Precedent for what? It's $20, and from Chock's Review I gather it's quite decent. I don't fly airliners anymore, but if I did, I'd buy this.

Come to think of it, MSFS is Mickey mouse. Or did I miss something and MSFS 2020 suddenly on the list of FAA approved training devices?

It's of course your choice. Juts because it very low price you settle with that artistic interpretation. This is not very encouraging trend for MSFS being a sim platform rather than arcade. Also encourage more developers to sell more stuff like that because to sells

It’s a free market... or should the politburo decide what can or can’t be released? 😜😃😁
