Ok, i continue on my way. I prefer to wait for the one from PMDG. 🙂

Yes.  But I don't think we'll find another 737 for 19 USD.

Working like on the 787?

It's gonna be basic for 20 quid, but that doesn't mean it isn't fun, and for 20 quid it's a lot better than you'd think.

Thanks Chock! Exactly what we wanted to know!

Mini review on the ol’ YouTube?

Yeah I'll sling one on youtube in a day or two. It's cheap and cheerful fun. Think 'Virtualcol A220' and you're in the ballpark. I'll be honest, for 20 quid I think it's pretty good. First test flight now descending into LFPG...

Did the Coronado not do the same when they did their 182? and they charged over 30$ for it too.

It's not a good comparison. Is like saying I did lousy job because someone else did it too

Thanks Chock. I'll most likely buy it. Hopefully we would get some liveries for this. 🙂

I thought they Coronado simply took the ASOBO's G3000 as is with some minor modification just like this one may have ported over the A787 avionics? The 737 seems like it is a new modeled 737 and not a 787.from the exterior.

Carenado use their own G1000 in the 182, And true to the year of manufacture it's equipped with the earliest G1000 which did not have synthetic vision. I did my cross country endorsement in the same aircraft IRL.

True. But I didn;t see complains against Coronado to add such a small value add and then charge whatever they did. I am not dissing Coronado per se, cause I bought two of their other analog gauges aircrafts. I thoughtthose two were good aircrafts.

It's following the MOBRO approach into 26R at LFPG...

The Carenado 182 is it's own complete new 3D model.  Interior and exterior.

For avionics it has G1000's, because that's what the aircraft had in real life.

It is the Asobo G1000, but Carenado modified it to remove the synthetic vision because the aircraft they were modeling didn't come with synthetic vision.

Not the same as taking a 737 exterior and slapping it on the 787 interior.

You're totally misstating what the 182 is.  Whatever.  I've pointed out twice now, it's up to you to read and understand.

I went through the posts in this thread.  The vibe I'm getting is something along the lines of:

"We're not going to buy this because it's not PMDG."  But people seem to forget that it's only 19 bucks haha.  I think I paid 15 for the Carenado Waco....a plane with much simpler systems.
