You dictate what sims should be about how exactly?

A professional pilot's enjoyment of a pc game/sim set's what standard for this very broad consumer base exactly?

Essentially that I a professional is happy it's likely good enough for the average user also

Actually no, there are a lot of complaints on the MSFS forum that the default airliners are too hard to fly and need to be simplified.   Two totally different markets.

What is this "enjoy" thing of which you speak ?

Flight Simming is a very serious business, akin to having a second job.

So stop all that frivolous fun and unproductive time wasting right now, you hear me !  We will have none of your "fun" nonsense here.

Your right, your right.  😂🤣

NO DEFINITELY NOT.

Definitely
NOT

i bought a new computer $1200   ,honeycomb yoke $250 and the basic msfs2020 package $60. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program a few times and it seems that after the install its worse off then before.

i have talked to support and they are no help at all.

Now the FLY button is not active..So the program is basically worthless to me.

Nah, it's rubbish. I mean look...

+1, truly terrible

Also the addon cows available in other sims are vastly better

Sydney is truly awful as well:

Depends on how you "view" it.  Not necessarily on how you "fly" it.

People need to get over themselves and  stop pretending that they are so far above a  visual experience and can only enjoy the sim if it offers a NASA level simulation of their favourite aircraft.    Firstly, you are probably not that smart that it risks disappointing your intellect.  That is not really what a sim is about anyway.   If you really love flightsimming, then you will love this sim within its current limitations and there is plenty to enjoy with the current aircraft and various mods available.   Use the TBM and do a world tour.  That'll keep you busy for a good while and you will truly see what the sim offers.  There are a number of professional pilots enjoying the sim, so I highly doubt that it isn't good enough for you.

Ah, so that's it! I probably don't love flightsimming...since...1982 😄.

No hard feelings...Enjoy what you love!🙂

You know it works in P3D and MSFS, right? You need to faff about a bit with the import settings to get it tweaked up properly in MSFS so the engines develop the correct power, but it's not too difficult, and as you can see from the screenie, it goes in okay visually right off the bat. No sim of mine is complete without a Dan Air London Comet - it's first aeroplane I ever flew on. 😎

Wow!!!

You've entered it via tarmac or gate ramp?

That must have been breathtaking to see and enter it in person!🍻

Nah, back then EGCC's old cul-de-sac ramp area for flights in that thing was in front of the older tower, so you had to walk out to the thing and go up the stairs. That stand the Comet is parked on in this picture is only used for small regionals such as ERJ-145s, CRJs, Dash 8s and ATRs these days:
