I'm a dummy... had wrong sim selected. 😉

Why did aerosoft not test it before release??  You guys are Beta testers, shame on them.

I think it’s a joke aimed at people who keep complaining about sim bugs & call us all “beta testers for Asobo”.

I got all excited about this update, then realised I haven't actually bought the CRJ yet!  😀

Probably only a matter of time I reckon.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's.  Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.

Why not take the plunge & join the early adopter pool of Beta Testers out there who have paid for the privilege.😀

I installed it over the previous version. I did not uninstall the previous version. I hope that's ok. 🙂

I guess this aircraft still doesn't speak nicely with external hardware other than yolk and throttles etc.?

it uses custom LVARS variables. So you need a software like LINDA or SPAD.Next to make it work.

It should. If anyone has any strange issues (especially a crash) after doing an update, it would be a good idea to reset the aircraft using the procedure in this post.

This will trigger the same 10 minute “waiting period” as upon the very first load after the CRJ was first installed, (which will only happen once), but it will insure that all the sim’s compiled working files are fully regenerated.

So it works with SPAD? That is good news!

Thanks!

yes, you need to be in the beta branch. I can give you a CRJ.xml profile if you like.
