yes, you need to be in the beta branch. I can give you a CRJ.xml profile if you like.

Not having purchased yet - Is the beta branch a beta group, or can you opt-in  for a beta install? I can send an email address if you wouldn't mind sharing an xml..

Thanks!

I got all excited about this update, then realised I haven't actually bought the CRJ yet!  😀

Probably only a matter of time I reckon.

It apparently runs great in VR so definitely a buy for me!

Nice update.

Load over the top of current install, or remove current install 1st?

Repost from Aerosoft forums where I got downvoted for pointing these things out:

I actually purchased the CRJ twice on launch day because Aerosoft servers went down and couldnt handle the requests. In the MS store the update is not available, but it IS available in aerosoft store (redownload).

I notice that

a) the glideslop now functions (yay)

b) The airplane still flies like a drunken sailor along the Lnav. Its like it is too slow to respond to the turn and therefore always is too late in the turn resulting in overshooting. The same happens when it tries to correct back, and can easily result in lateral oscillation.

This happens almost always in all cirumstances (SID, enroute, STAR, and onto the ILS). Im happy that it has a custom nav database so it I can actually program proper flightplans, but I am terribly dissapointed with how the CRJ does it's Lnav.  It really needs work, and isnt ready for paying customers.
c) The nose lifts up uncommanded 10 knots prior to vr (pitch trim set according to the EFB calculations).

Just finished my first post patch flight. Autopilot much improved especially during approaches. Now auto-approach frequency sets correct approach heading. Keeping appropriate speed during SID/STAR transition improves "overshoots" much better now. Can't wait for Asobo to add WX/TERR control to SDK. Terran radar would be most welcome especially flying IFR  in mountainous terrain !

Also anyone can shed flight on DH (decision height) I see knob to set it but I still can't find it anywhere on PFD. Does anyone know where DH actually shows?

If you bought on the Marketplace, has it been uploaded yet?  I am not at my Sim PC.  Is that the only place you can get the update?
