Small update coming today

If in your computer everything works fine, except one thing, the problem is in the "one thing" not in your computer.

Had exactly the same looping file problem today, I had to use Netlimiter app to limit Internet bandwidth to less than 5Mbps. Useless to say that everything else works perfectly. My internet connection is fiber / 1000Mbps, perhaps MS is scared that with this speed, I will consume all the traffic so they don't want me.

I just wonder if it's because of where I installed it or something.

Regarding this download loop you might be right but not in general. Especially memory problems in many cases only occur with MSFS because it's the most demanding program on many computers. I had a faulty RAM stick a few months ago and MSFS was the only program where blue screens happened. But still, it was the RAM, not MSFS.

I got looping file problem again so I restarted the sim, and now it's downloading all of FS-Base again, all 36GB of it.

My father never has this issue with his copy of the sim. I'm not sure what's wrong with mine.

Some just get off being rude. It's in their DNA.

Crimplene,

Now, I am confused. I do not understand why you are upset when my comment was a reference to the above quote. If I have offended you, and I still cannot see why, I apologise unreseservedly.  I am getting old I guess

I wonder when Asobo will get round to fixing Multiplayer?

This needs to be moved to the proper forum topic

I probably misunderstood or didn't get what quote you meant. I am sorry. We are good, I hope.

Indeed. This topic is about people who get upset because they lack any humour. Sad.

The World is divided into two groups. Those who say "Give me a link" and those that provide the link. WWG1WGA

We are united in sadness. There is no word to express my sorrow.

We probably derailed this thread beyond repair. 🙂 But the original topic wasn't very important anyway. The hotfix didn't damage anything, as it seems.

My small update turned into a large update after the small one just kept downloading and restarting lol.  It's like I'm downloading WU4 again awesome.

Naw it like tried to download this little update and it kept restarting it.  Then it just CTD.  Then it basically re-downloaded the 35.4GB of the previous WU.   They really should work on that.

Oh I know, same with me. The update is for the fs-base, when you restarted the download it just didn't know what to download so it downloaded the whole thing.
