New Nvidia driver out today!

Featured Replies

New Nvidia driver 466.63 is out today.  Just downloaded it and will try.  Has anyone tried it yet?  As always, I'm waiting for the "best driver ever" reviews.  Only this time, I hope it's true!

Just wondering why always new NVIDIA driver is so big event ?

I see absolutely zero difference between drivers, but maybe it is just me ...

The only thing Nvidia has ever done for P3D with their drivers is brick the program. These threads are pointless 99.9999% of the time otherwise.

Fixed Issues in this Release
[VR]: If the GPU is connected to a 4K UHD TV, the system may freeze when launching a VR game. [3313315]
[RTX 20 series][GTX 16/10 series][HDMI]: 4K @ 120Hz display mode is not available from display settings. [3312401]

No Man's Sky also gets DLSS.  If you play this and have a 2000 series and higher, the driver upgrade is worth it.

well agree sort of..... some seemily caused CTDs, some caused DXGI errors etc etc etc.

but then one day people might learn that the sim they are using is an abondoned 20 year old esp, bought by a company to make some money by private companies, and the military, and not simmers.

harsh but realistic.

great news, but still wont (and neither will anything else) stop a painful pile of stuttering mess if you try and land a good payware tubeliner into an addon airport which isnt optimised texture wise or dynamic lighting wise.  Lads its a 20 year old sim,  but thats all we have, so there you have it. take it or leave it.  as mentioned before I long for the day I can take this 20 year old piece of junk of my pc.  but theres no alternative if you like good quality tube liners.

if xp11 or ms2020  had as good payware a/c as p3d id be there like a rocket, but they dont.  Its the addon scenery for p3d and the 20 year old engine that lets it down every time

Tried it and stutters were quite prevalent.  Reverted back to the 466.27 drivers (2 updates back), and they worked beautifully for 2 long flights.

Installed yesterday....so far no problems, and no difference from previous driver.

Yes and now the new sim breaks when updated for a lot of simmers with addons, but users will give them a pass on that.

It will never be true. Someone may claim it, but they will be talking BS
