The last time I flew I thought the terrain was looking blurry and suffering with slow loading textures. I thought, jeez, here we go 🤨 FSX all over again. Also, for those who may have read my post about poor performance with the DC6, Dave has seen it, it makes very little difference if I have the settings on low or on ultra!!! Go figure 😬 All very odd. But anyway, just to confirm, I too have noticed what the OP is experiencing. hmm slow loading textures could be a server issue.

I had this blurry textures only one time, about 8 weeks ago, and it lasted for about 2 hours, and then like throwing a switch, it went back to normal, and has never done this again. It was obvious to me, that the data for the scenery had suddenly stopped, and the resumed later on.

In this case it's just the ground textures that load very slow, it's not in the ring shape but somehow random - sometimes it's just some of the squares not loading, sometimes it's also the one right below the aircraft but some in the distance do load properly at the same time. Most of the blurry textures eventually loads but also at the same time new one appear that are blurry. Based on some of the comment posts I'm not alone experiencing this issue lately. Here's an example, where the trees actually appear over the blurred background. It's not the trees. I get exactly the same issue as you. Sim looks like word not allowed now. And it's not intermittent. Is permanent. Probably exacerbated by the poor LOD in the northern regions. It's a blurry mess! I have the same specs as you: i9-10900k @4.9ghz, rtx2080ti, 32gb ddr4 @3.2mhz, nvme m2, 1gb line. Dunno, I haven't tried with no addons, because nothing has changed at my end. The only thing that has changed is the update. July 10, 20214 yr This is an interesting thread as I’ve been experiencing the exact same issue for the last few days, maybe a week or so. Similar to Tomas, no settings have been changed for months and the blurring of textures is at the same distance shown in his screen shots.

July 10, 20214 yr I have just this minute given up on a flight from Lands End to Exeter. If things don't work for me I get very frustrated and this is starting to remind me of frustrations with FSX and early P3D. The efficient loading of mesh and textures was something that I originally thought "at last, we don't have to tolerate those awful slow loading textures" but alas, they have reappeared. I know mesh loads slower on cliffs and vertical areas than it does on level ground, but I have not seen this level of loading delay in MSFS until recently. To show just how bad they are on my setup, I have just recorded a very down and dirty video with my phone. Watch just at the end of the video to see just how bad the mesh loads. Please, fellas, don't suggest turning down settings, thanks Edited July 10, 20214 yr by Rockliffe HowardMSI Mag B650 Tomahawk MB, Ryzen7-7800X3D CPU@5ghz, Arctic AIO II 360 cooler, Nvidia RTX4090 GPU, 32gb DDR5@6000Mhz, SSD/2Tb+SSD/500Gb+OS, Corsair 1000W PSU, LG Ultragear 48"4K, MFG Crosswinds, TQ6 Throttle, Fulcrum One YokeMy FlightSim YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/@skyhigh776

I got a message "data transfer too slow" or something like that, then I realized that the sim had switched off Bing Data Transfer automatically which was then the reason for the blurries. Seems to be better now but I see still some glitches here and then. - Harry 9800x3D (Strix x870e-E) - 64GB RAM (DDR5 6000, CL 30) - RTX 5090, 34'' 1440p OLED HDR - Windows 11 Pro (1TB M.2) - MSFS 2024 (MS Store, 4TB M.2).

If the server or any thing in the route to your PC is congested, the data may stop or load slowly. When that happens what you see is the base scenery which is part of the original install. It looks really bad compared to the normal streaming scenery.
