July 2, 20214 yr I have to agree that the updates from FSL are really annoying. Its bad enough that you have to go through a full reinstall of each aircraft (of which I have 5 now), its made worse with their micky mouse downloader. You can't even see a full list of your products, you have to look up and copy/paste your order number and key for each one. There has to be an easier way. While I love their Airbus, I have to say the PMDG updater is a much more elegant solution to these minor updates. I think I have had to do one or maybe two full installs of PMDG products in the past few years, such a pleasure to use their Operations Center. Mark CYYZ

Oh, there is! https://flightsimlabs.onfastspring.com/account Enter your e-mail address and you'll be sent a link to click on. Once you do that, most if not all products will be listed on a single download page. (For some reason, the 321 doesn't have a download for me via this method and I have to use the old download method.)

I have used this but it still requires me to go to the downloads page and enter the details to get the download. Not sure why and as you say the SL versions don't work this way. Mark CYYZ

But not being an FSLabs team member, I can only guess, that the unprecedented complexity of this simulation creates the requirement of full reinstall (as well as Windows restart). Not saying a sleek GUI would not make it more comfortable, but the fact I need to reinstall FSL airbuses, say, a few times per year, does not necessarily make it a big inconvenience to me. I get what you are saying Rafal. I don't mind it as much when I've been on the same version of P3D for a while. But when a new version and a hotfix come within weeks of each other, it is a bit more annoying. I don't know if I totally agree with "unprecedented complexity" part either. Yes some things. But the same can be said about the leonardo MD80 as well as the NGXu. Each of those have elements that are better than their peers. Heck. The Majestic Q400 may be dated, but it's fantastic. And guess what. I haven't had to reinstall it from scratch every point update from p3d. 5800X3D, 4090FE, 64GB DDR4 3600C16, Gigabyte X570S MB, EVO 970 M.2's, Alienware 3821DW and 2 22" monitors, Corsair RM1000x PSU, 360MM MSI MEG, MFG Crosswind, T16000M Stick, Boeing TCA Yoke/Throttle, Skalarki MCDU and FCU, Logitech Radio Panel/Switch Panel, Spad.Next

This, making multiple posts complaining about this would waste more of my time than the reinstall process.

So when you have to do five uninstalls, five reinstallations, and five reboots for every point release and hotfix, it does land things squarely in the realm of tedious. I never reboot until the final install. Never had an issue. Eric

The simple fact that a few seconds of video at the end of an Airbus promotion showed it flying supersonically. The perfect time to give us some update on progress. But no, absolutely nothing. It seems like it could go either way at this point.
