July 6, 20214 yr Hello, since the SL Version has been out for some time: would you say it's frustrating to fly the old A320-X version compared to the new SL-version?
July 6, 20214 yr Author Since the SL has more features and as far as I know the 320-x doesn't have an EFB.

July 6, 20214 yr Isn´t the A320-X a requirement for flying the SL version? July 6, 20214 yr I find myself mostly flying the non-SL variants because there are relatively few US liveries for the SLs, real or fictional. There's a Delta 321SL but no Delta 320SL, and no American or United liveries for either. So most of my flying in the SL is Frontier or Jetblue. It's always bugged me that FSL leaves American out of its stock liveries, despite AAL operating (and by a large margin) the largest A320 fleet in the world. July 6, 20214 yr It's frustrating that there will be no EFB for the A319/A320 non-SL variants in the foreseeable future. I also prefer the lightning, sounds and displays in the SL variants. They did an outstanding job on this one... 22 minutes ago, w6kd said: It's always bugged me that FSL leaves American out of its stock liveries, despite AAL operating (and by a large margin) the largest A320 fleet in the world. I still can't wrap my mind around that fact... Regarding liveries, I think it has to do with copyright issues. However, to be honest, the stock liveries from FSL are not that great. The good ones are basically all made by third-party painters. Have you checked the download section in their forum? I saw some very nice American A321 Sharklet repaints there, one even in a special livery. Also inibuilds should have some on offer if I remember correctly - more a Delta guy myself. 😂

I've been checking the new additions on the top download page just about daily, and occasionally the first page of the downloads sections for the SLs, and somehow those got past me. Still not much out there for the 320SL, though. Delta doesn't have any A320 with sharklets, only the A321s have them. United also doesn't have sharklets on their Airbus fleet. That's why there aren't any liveries for these since most I think prefer real liveries over fictional ones. For all the real world variants there are plenty of liveries in the download section of their forums for Delta, United and American, though.
July 6, 20214 yr I have been flying the SL version more because of the EFB. Nice to get proper takeoff and derate numbers. I agree the liveries are lacking. No BA A321 only the A320. Hopefully more will arrive soon. Mark CYYZ

The Navigraph integration is awful.
