July 6, 20214 yr The price for the DC-6 for MSFS is a very good deal at $55, compared to the price of the DC-6 for P3D and X-Plane. I like how the prices have been pushed down by MSFS (a lot of airport sceneries are also quite cheap on MSFS). And of course, the reviews for the DC-6 for MSFS have been stellar. Now we wait for the 737 from PMDG for MSFS. I'm sure the PMDG 737 will also be another hugely successful product when it's released for MSFS! i5-12400, RTX 3060 Ti, 32 GB RAM

July 6, 20214 yr Author Does anyone know what the Level D 767 sold for back in the day. I bought that aircraft when it came out, and it was leaps and bounds above any other add on back then. Flew it for years.

Memory is a bit vague on that and the receipts are long gone, but I reckon it was about £40 (GBP). Getting back into MSFS after a few months off I was quite pleased to see the DC6 and on sale for what is a very nice price, too. Think it will be added to my hangar very soon. What do we reckon the chances are of it turning up in the Marketplace, so the transaction and support/upgrades are merged into the core programme.

Doubt if that would have happened with the Market Place selling it.

They will be able to get it for the PMDG 737. Supply and demand at its best.

You think those newbies are going to fork over 100+$ for a 737 you will be rudely awakened. The DEMAND will be not so much greater than in P3D which will cost the same in MSFS. Most will still fly the A320nx imo.

I fully agree with you, For most of us avsim and flightsim aficionados, $100 might be bearable, as we just want to have that plane. But we are the minority. I have no idea, how many copies PMDG was able to sell for the P3D version, but looking at it from a pure marketing point of view and taking into consideration the vast number of MSFS users compared to P3D, my guess is that, if they would price it at around $60, they would sell a vast number of copies more. Lower profit per copy, but an overall much healthier bottom line. Just my 2 cents.
