July 12, 20214 yr 1-2 years too late for me, I moved on from P3D. A pity, I was really looking forward to it when it was first announced 3-4 years ago.

Just sitting there and watching lots of ai traffic. One possible problem, I have not yet seen any ai T/O. Several landings but no T/O . It seems that there's a problem with the afcad start position. Huge traffic jam for T/O but they all disappear after some time. There were enough time slots between the landings where ai a/c could actually take off. - Harry 9800x3D (Strix x870e-E) - 64GB RAM (DDR5 6000, CL 30) - RTX 5090, 34'' 1440p OLED HDR - Windows 11 Pro (1TB M.2) - MSFS 2024 (MS Store, 4TB M.2).

July 12, 20214 yr One thing I was wondering. In the manual it recommends considering turning off building shadows due to the performance hit. Is this just a GPU hit, or also on the CPU? 5800X3D, 4090FE, 64GB DDR4 3600C16, Gigabyte X570S MB, EVO 970 M.2's, Alienware 3821DW and 2 22" monitors, Corsair RM1000x PSU, 360MM MSI MEG, MFG Crosswind, T16000M Stick, Boeing TCA Yoke/Throttle, Skalarki MCDU and FCU, Logitech Radio Panel/Switch Panel, Spad.Next

That's good, but why don't airport developers don't provide a good working afcad in the the first place? It happens far too often that faulty afcads come with a new product. At least, it is easy repairable in most cases. - Harry 9800x3D (Strix x870e-E) - 64GB RAM (DDR5 6000, CL 30) - RTX 5090, 34'' 1440p OLED HDR - Windows 11 Pro (1TB M.2) - MSFS 2024 (MS Store, 4TB M.2).

Because they know we simmers are a picky bunch and we'll be tweaking the AFCADS anyway.😉

I can assure you we take always a lot of time optimizing the AFCAD, especially for AIG traffic! In this case it was an error introduced shortly before the release due to a misunderstanding which was sadly not caught during beta. Takeoffs were of course working during development. I am very sorry for this and a fix will be provided. Daniel
