Aerosoft is releasing Simple Traffic addon for AI Traffic

I think the liveries themselves, Asobo and Microsoft seem to be unable to produce mode liveries due to licensing issues as Jörg mentioned sometimes ago. About the the internal technical issues, I think @Kaiii3 can provide us with some insight on the progress of the technical issues that MSFS has since he's now on direct contact with Asobo and Microsoft. But it seems now the pressure is more on Asobo since Aerosoft seems to be interested in the AI add-one as well

can not tell much at the moment cause we are still testing all stuff regarding AI. So far we have been able to identify around 50+ issues when it comes to ATC, AI Logic, Airports..... There are many areas that need improvements/fixes.

TBH: I think Aerosoft is here more on the way to get easy money at the moment... Check out what they have released for other Sims when it comes to AI (Real Models and Liveries), and now they stick to just liveries on the generic models.... Telling everyone this is for performance reasons is just an excuse IMO, using our deticated AI models we have no performance impact compared to the generic once.

Wow, did no one notice the aircraft models?  Really?  No thank you, those models look horrible every AC has some sort of weird pointy nose.  Looks like a step backwards.

Have a Wonderful Day

they use the default generic aircraft from MSFS just adding some real world liveries to it.

Looks good to me, I just want more life with good frame rates. It's called simple Traffic, so I am not expecting anything Earth shattering in terms of models.

If it does what it says on the tin then I'm in.

Your point would be relevant if they were charging similar prices to the products you highlighted; however, this product is nearly 70% cheaper than thier current offerings.  Seems pretty reasonable to me.

Can it be used for model matching with vPilot?  That alone would be worth the price!

I’m tempted as this is not very expensive, and gives you more life with real world liveries at airports.

Ultimately I would like to see model matching - which doesn’t have to been super high quality to save frames, much better animation and real world liveries.

New PC Ryzen 9850X3D - 32gb ddr5 6000Mhz - MSI MAG B850 Tomahawk wifi - Gigabyte wind force gaming OC 5090 - 2TB Sabrent NVMe. Old PC - Ryzen 5900x - 32gb 3600Mhz RAM - Asus Strix X570-F Motherboard - ASUS TUF OC RTX 3090 - 1TB Sabrent NVMe. AOC AGON 32" 144Hz - Honeycomb Yoke - Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog. T Flight Rudder Pedals - Trackir.

You forgot afcads for all airports to make sure aircraft park where they should.

Yeah that's a major issue with a lot of the airports in the sim, even the handcrafted ones.

I’m in!!!

Frame rates is my highest priority

Accurate looks is a very distant second.

Instant buy for me

Liveries are what many are looking for at the moment. AS read the market really well and this is going to sell like hotcakes!

This was originally announced on the MSFS forums as Framerate Friendly AI. But they haven't posted anything since June 20th. I guess Aerosoft saw it and gobbled them up

Although this is welcome as a stop gap, until we get a better add on, whether it's payware or freeware, I'm a bit puzzled with this being a commercial product, surely they have the same legalities regarding the use of copyrighted liveries and company names as Microsoft do, yet Microsoft have continually stated that the middle sized airlines are too busy just staying afloat to be bothered about entering into agreements with a flightsim program, yet it seems that's exactly what Aerosoft has managed to do pretty easily. I hope Jorg can answer how things seem different for the relevant devs.

AMD 9800X3D,  NZXT X73 RGB AIO COOLER, Gigabyte X870 Aorus Elite WIFI7, 64GB 6000MHZ RAM, 4TB Samsung Pro NVME, 4 TB Crucial P3+ NVME, 4TB Crucial SSD, Gigabyte Gaming OC Geforce RTX5090, Antec C8 ARGB Case, X55 JOYSTICK/THROTTLES, LG 4K C4 42" TV/Monitor 120 Hz, 2 Dell 1080 monitors. Honeycomb Alpha Yoke, Bravo Throttle. Thrustmaster TPR Pedals. Moza AB6 FFB Joystick, Pimax Crystal Light VR, Tobii Eye tracker, Steelseries Arctis 7+ Wireless Headphones.

They probably didn't and are betting on the airlines not noticing.
