July 26, 20214 yr From Mathijs Kok here: Quote Aerosoft Simple Traffic has just two jobs: To show correct liveries and correct traffic routes between suitable airports. So instead of seeing a row of imaginary airlines at Frankfurt International you see Lufthansa aircraft. And KLM aircraft at Schiphol, Delta at Atlanta, Air France in Paris, and United at O’Hare. You get the idea. Optimizes the framerate by using only the lowest polygon versions of the default MSFS AI models. Too detailed models for AI traffic, in our opinion, make it hard for complex scenery and super accurate aircraft to get enough resources. That is all. It does not promise more. It does not do more. It is not the final AI Traffic tool we would all like to see in Microsoft Flight Simulator but for many technical reasons that are not easy to complete at this moment. Simple Traffic is a quick fix, but we believe it simply does well. Instead of fake liveries, you see the correct ones using the simplified default aircraft models. The product will be updated regularly. In the two attachments, you see the airliners and airports that are currently covered. It is that simple and that is why it is called Aerosoft Simple Traffic and that is why it only costs €12.50 (plus VAT when applicable). It should be available soon. For now, enjoy this trailer and we’ll have some images for you in the next few days. It will use the default Asobo models but it seems to be sort of compromise due to the technical issues with the AI Traffic SDK in MSFS (I guess Kai knows the details). July 26, 20214 yr Looks like a decent stop gap for the price until we get something like what AIG is working on in the sim. Dave Current System (Running at 4k): ASUS ROG STRIX X670E-F, Ryzen 7800X3D, RTX 5090, 55" Samsung Q80T, 64GB DDR5 6000 RAM, EVGA CLC 280mm AIO Cooler, Brunner CLS-E NG Yoke, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS & Stick, Thrustmaster TCA Quadrant & Add-on, VirtualFly Ruddo+, TQ6+ and Yoko+, GoFlight MCP-PRO and EFIS, Skalarki FCU and MCDU
July 26, 20214 yr Yes looks good but I thought MSFS is working on this themselves? Really want to see some smaller regional airlines ATM... Chris Camp

I think the liveries themselves, Asobo and Microsoft seem to be unable to produce mode liveries due to licensing issues as Jörg mentioned sometimes ago. About the the internal technical issues, I think @Kaiii3 can provide us with some insight on the progress of the technical issues that MSFS has since he's now on direct contact with Asobo and Microsoft. But it seems now the pressure is more on Asobo since Aerosoft seems to be interested in the AI add-one as well AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, 64GB DDR5 6000MHZ RAM, RX7900XT, FreeSync 165hz 1440p display
July 26, 20214 yr Finally an addon that will inject real traffic into the sim. It will give more atmosphere...thanks for sharing!
July 26, 20214 yr Those AI aircraft models with their pointy noses are very bad looking. I hope they get this worked out at some point.

July 26, 20214 yr Looks ok - Obviously it would be better if the Asobo models weren't being used or those models were updated by MS/Asobo so they actually looked a bit more like the plane they are trying to replicate and more models for the different types of airliners you see. But hopefully one day we will get to that point. Better than nothing though! But yeah liveries are the biggest problem. He's said the airlines have given reasons like, that the pandemic is just causing them too busy to give approval right away, or they don't exactly understand why they want the liveries. I do not think the addon is going to inject any traffic to the sim; It's going to use msfs's own function to load AI. If you're looking for addons that inject traffic AI in game there's a free one that does this at the moment: https://flightsim.to/file/17289/enhanced-live-traffic (AI does not communicate with ATC at the moment)
