The only thing I ever said was LOD and ground texture issues and gamma, same thing i was saying since 5 minutes after the patch was released. Some issues with shadows, but that may be because of the over-exposure my settings were changed. my bad. 2 minutes ago, Fiorentoni said: I am positively suprised by the fact that most of the issues debated here on AVSIM are going to be resolved with that hotfix. I probably will be negatively surprised when it breaks something else or isn't even fixed, but well, at least it's not as bad as we thought regarding intentional downgrading of graphics (like intentionally removing volumetric lighting for the XBOX release or using VGA-textures above 30,000 feet). But I really do have lost a lot of confidence in their ability to fix things and even more in their ability to NOT break things and even more more in their ability to detect those broken things before release and/or not releasing an update that is a complete mess before fixing it. Maybe an X-Box Series X/S Preset to go along with the Low/Medium/High/Ultra presets. Edited August 4, 20214 yr by Tuskin38

August 4, 20214 yr Yes, we (almost) all lost confidence, That´s a fact. I said I was naive to expect a good resolution to the disaster, but I like to be like that in life rather a cynical pessimistic guy. Iñigo Bildarratz
August 4, 20214 yr What does this mean? The terrain level of detail is more than 1 terrain pixel per 4K screen pixel. Usually when developers talk about texture resolution they say things like "30cm pr pixel". // 5800X3D // RTX 3090 // 64GB RAM // HP REVERB G2 //

Trimming code is optimization and can lead to better performance. You have no proof that the "trim" introduced issues in the PC version. If you look at the list of issues you will see that one of them came about as a result of them trying to make clouds look BETTER! 5800X3D. 32 GB RAM. 1TB SATA SSD. 3TB HDD. RX 9070XT.

Definitely saying "yes , please, thank you "to everything Asobo did didn´t help a bit to have several hotfixes . Edited August 4, 20214 yr by Aristoteles Iñigo Bildarratz

Alot more needs to be done to get the shimmering in the scenery to go back to not being there like it wasn't in SU4 .

August 4, 20214 yr The community says “word not allowed you asobo for dumbing down my flight sim for Xbox” Asobo say “ sorry these were just bugs here is a hot fix” Community says “I love you Asobo I knew you wouldn’t let us down” 😀 Thomas Derbyshire

I feel this rapid effort is to prove to us, that there was no agenda on their part. Good....it brought results that we will all benefit from!
August 4, 20214 yr Yes the threads helped them narrow down the issues to fix. But they would have fixed them either way when pointed out.
