Why? Maybe we are just whinners who hate FS after all, right? It looks like you put all those who make constructive criticism on one side while you keep on the other side. And when community responses triggers responses from Asobo that will be benefitial for you too, you can still call us whiners. WinWin. Edited August 4, 20214 yr by Aristoteles Iñigo Bildarratz

According to our resident experts most problems are user - imagined; the remaining issues are caused by non-empty community folders, overclocking, messing with settings, being too picky / grumpy / spoiled (you choose). If the devs are actually seeing problems, tell them to leave MSFS 2020 alone ang go fly P3D instead. Or maybe the devs themselves are part of the anti-MSFS conspiracy organized by Austin Meyer and Lockheed Martin? Time will tell. This is going to be interesting. A.

Some seem completely random, random is hard to narrow down. Repeatable ones are easier. Edited August 4, 20214 yr by Tuskin38

Well I think there are still ongoing CTD problems for some, that were there before SU5 and are still there, that they have been working on for months and months Maybe they don't want users to think that this next hot fix is going to cure all CTD.s Today there are posts on the Official MS Forum that now the CTD's are attacking the Xbox X platform too.

Suggestions to the opposite are misguided. But even your thoughts are merely speculative. It's ok to post speculative thoughts, it makes people think....nobody needs to be muzzled if only because it doesn't flow in the river of popular hope for's or opinion. That is what a forum is...and for some to elevate their speculations over others, by insults or dismissive chatter is not showing good form. I read everybody's opinions..and chew the cud with it., but in an open forum...nothing as I see it is ever misguided, unless to the reader, it appears on conflict with what THEY feel is what is happening. That is a personal one on one...and does not dismiss the other's comments in total. That's how I conduct myself on forums... I don't think that anybody can look at my forum history and state that I have EVER said someone else's opinion was spewing, foolish, not warranted...whatever. Who would be I, to type that? We are all different...

You just bring bitterness to a thread which was fun just to assert selfishly that you were right in calling other simmers foolish. Really nice. Really, really nice. Outstanding. Me, I have issues with people that cannot have a fair discussion without calling out people foolish. Weird, isn't it ? We had the technical director of ASobo few days ago who has explained us for 15 minutes that they did a deep work of trimming to adapt the code to the lower tier Xbox. They also said on other occasions that the PC/Xbox code were the same. It is reasonable to infer that some of what we have seen in SU5 came in the process. Inference is not evidence of course and it is still an open question. But it seems you prefer invective to discussion. I wonder if there is someone whose CTDs have been indeed substantially fixed by the hotfix. I can tell that I never had them before SU5 and the hotfix did not change anything... August 4, 20214 yr I'm personally thrilled about the overexposure, altitude and ground texture at high altitude fix. The only other thing that really bothers me now are the new "TIMECRUIZ and TIMECLIMB" waypoints added automatically to VFR flight plans that the autopilot insists on following. But I'm honestly super excited for this update, to the point that I think I'll take a break until it is released!
