that is how it was supposed to be, there is no "in-game" update, only the core sim update which is done by the MS Store

Nothing. There is no in-sim update.

I know CTDs not yet fixed but now getting them more frequently and for example loading up Piper arrow on runway whereas before hotfix it was ok.

Ok I’ve since deleted cache and reloaded. Seems to work ok now.

Hi,

I was asleep when the hotfix was released.

Now I'm starting MSFS and no update.

Where is the update? How is it supposed to install?

Thank you.

Hi,

There should be an update on Microsoft Store, or on Steam depending where you bought it.

After updating through those, there should be no more in-sim update like the previous ones.

And the white dot in the cockpit is still there using X-box controller for the camera. And you can´t toggle it on/off. Thank you Microsoft for the game.

At no point did they say this feature would be removed or changed in this hotfix.

And it literally disappears the moment you stop looking around. Why not raise a request with Asobo for a toggle to be introduced?

I'm sure somebody said you press up on the D pad and it disappears.

It's a necessary pointer (like a mouse cursor) for somebody using only a controller, I presume, so you can point at and select buttons/dials in the cockpit. I could be wrong, as I use a HOTAS and mouse/keyboard controls, so I haven't seen it; but it seems to me it would be the next best equivalent.

Pressing up on the d pad makes it disappear. Same for the little handle
