I have tried 2 times to start a quick flight in the default 172.  2 CTD's.  One when loading the airport, one when starting taxi.  Community folder clean.

Can you provide specifics? Where were you taking off from?

Yes, It is embarrassing.

Both times were from KFLL.  Just started one from Key West, heading north along the keys.  So far so good!

I also put my community folder back in.  I figured since it locked up anyway what the heck!

Well, said earlier I wanted no changes but the lighting, and that's exactly what I got.

It looks stunning.  It runs perfectly.  Please Asobo... step away from the graphics engine and focus on other stuff. don't touch a thing now ya'll hear 😉

Especially when the "apology" reeks of "sorry, not sorry."  But he does spend several minutes plugging his Patreon channel, as usual.

longer videos are promoted/shared more on youtube the idea is to keep you on the platform no matter what it is that you are watching . this dude can talk , i lasted a few seconds .

try and clear the cache that seemed to have worked for me in the past

It runs as expected post SU5 (except for tree crawling).  "Perfectly" would look quite a lot better.

Well here is my experience with the hotfix so far:

try 1, in JF Warrior: CTD 1 minute into game just as I started to taxi

try 2, in C172: game hard locked while loading requiring hard reboot

try 3, in JF Arrow: no crashes, had a sort of successful short flight. However it was plagued with interface and control bugs. Mouse cursor kept disappearing. Some camera bindings were not working. Was unable to change any keybindings because when I selected the button, the interface froze until I pressed escape. Lighting and clouds seemed to be unchanged from pre-hotfix, clouds were completely overexposed and blown out (this was in HDR mode, I do have HDR on in windows and an HDR monitor). When I tried to reset graphics settings, game CTD. 🤬

I had my first CTD ever, flying low over an airport, so maybe disable ai traffic? I haven’t had any problems since my CTD and hopefully won’t again. 

Does the sim collect crash data?
