So game mode on or off?

Make your own test and check which is the best for you. With the latest windows 10 update Game Mode is working ultra good.

Exactly. I wonder why people trust what some internet guy posted that was good for HIS system before the update that fixed the mode and don't even try it. It's not rocket science, it's a switch they can turn on and off in 1 second. Go figure.

Each PC is different, so i guess the only option to check is  t e s t i n g. For my setup with the latest drivers and latest MSFS those links don't work anymore ( as they did before).

Made some extra tests:

  •  with HAGS OFF I  have more fps + Game mode ON
  • Nvidia control panel : Maximum Performance for MSFS  is not working like before. I have better fps/performance with all settings at default.
  • Windows Graphics Performance preference with MSFS selected high performance i had 2 more fps  ( this is weird )

As for CPU clock: frequency:  I was checking default 11900K at 4.8ghz ( all core) + 5.3 single core vs Adaptive Boost 5.1ghz ( all core)  inside cockpit the difference is 4 to 5 fps max. On Exterior view fps is higher (  5 to 8 fps)

I updated Windows and Nvidia driver today, I will run with HAGS off and Game Mode "On" for a while to check performance and stability.

So is it possible to ad the FlightSimulator.exe in HAGS located in D:\WindowsApps\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_1.18.15.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe?, or only the MSFS shortcut in the desktop?, it would be maybe the same?

I tried this, but it didn´t help me.
