Lots of other updates to planes and airports in content manager. I'm impressed.

Smoothie smooth with Steam.

As far as I am concerned, a hotfix for nothing.

Get the update via MS Store:

A lot of people are failing at this step, because of the issues with X-Box app & Microsoft Store.  You don't even see the update when you go to the Microsoft Store.

For many people, they minimally need X-Box app.  For this hotfix, I had to tinker with X-Box app, opening and closing the Microsoft Store multiple times, before the update showed for me in the Microsoft Store.

Nothing here.

Every update is getting worse!

Log out of your Xbox account, then log back in again. Then go to the MS Store. That works for me.

Oh!

Now when I start MSFS appears "Please insert the Microsoft Disc"

What's all this??

Click the three dot icon at the top right corner of the MS Store app.  The drop down should look like what Rob posted.  If it is not there then logout of the app and try again.  That worked for me and I did not even sign back in.  Before I logged out of the app it just was not there for me.

Odd, did you get to the downloads and updates via method below in MS Store?

Cheers, Rob.

You need to read all the discussion with X-Box app.  X-Box app appears to be a required application to even get the update for MSFS if you purchased it through the Microsoft Store.

Status: Live on Microsoft Store (465,2MB), Steam (282MB) and Xbox (1,7GB).

You may have to update and keep the Xbox App running to receive the Microsoft Store update.

Content manager installation is 527,68MB (if the client is not properly updated it will download 5,85KB).

Make sure to update the DACH World Update in the Content Manager (10,05KB).

What does this mean?

I had the Store update, around 400 MB, then the Sim update when starting which was about 500 MB, and in the Content Manager I updated the DACH and that was only a few KB. There was no other update in Content Manager for me.

And the xBox app sends you to the Microsoft Store.  And when you arrive there you may or may not be able to proceed without additional hoops, such as signing out of MS Store, and perhaps signing back in.  Like chasing your tail!  Who in the world "thunk" this up?

I've had the same issue on numerous occasions where the update does not show up. I found that logging out of the Xbox account, then signing in again does the trick! Regards.
