White vegetation during foggy conditions

Hello look at following screenshot:

When I have foggy conditons (Active Sky/EA mode) I got this white trees etc.

Where is the problem? When there is clear sky all trees look okay.

I reinstalled the client aswall and have no envshade etc.

Thanks!

I see it as well, so you're not alone. I'm not sure if there's a solution or it's just LM's usual shoddy implementation of EA.

Same here.

9950X3D, X870E ROG CROSSHAIR HERO, Corsair Dominator Titanium 64GB DDR5-6000 PC5-48000, ASUS RTX 5070Ti 16GB, 9100 PRO 4TB Samsung ,990 PRO 4TB Samsung,  AX1600i 1600 Watt 80 Plus Titanium ATX, ASUS 360 ARGB EXTREME 360mm Liquid CPU Cooling Kit.

I had this at uk2000 gatwick. Fixed by updating to latest version

Came across this many times. At first I thought this was related to the addon scenery as this happened quite consistently at DD's RJAA . Later I saw it in other places as well until finally I observed it even changing on the fly (no pun intended)  from the white as depicted above, to normal green trees.

I'm noticing it at quite a few addon airports - mostly trees, but also some buildings.  It only occurs with EA activated and intensifies as you fly away from the scenery.  Very unrealistic looking.  Hope they get this fixed.

When I use HDR Lighting (because it's turned on my Enhanced Atmosphere, all the white tree fringes is removed. If I turn HDR off,  I will get back the white fringes tree outline. It is either turned removed by using HDR as stand alone, or in combination with E.A.  Try that out and see.

It is the same for me. Is there already a solution for the problem?

I think this needs to be fixed by LM 😞

I would be interested if there will be a HF2 or 5.3 this year or we need to wait for next year to become a update 🙂

it will be really interesting to watch if they fix it or not.  So much mystery to me about the future for LM in terms of non commercial.

5800X3D, 4090FE, 64GB DDR4 3600C16, Gigabyte X570S MB, EVO 970 M.2's, Alienware 3821DW  and 2  22" monitors, Corsair RM1000x PSU,  360MM MSI MEG, MFG Crosswind, T16000M Stick, Boeing TCA Yoke/Throttle, Skalarki MCDU and FCU, Logitech Radio Panel/Switch Panel, Spad.Next

I see it as well for trees and buildings.

Rather harsh statement. Are you just stirring?

Because I have nothing like that on mine . EA and AS running: set foggy condition at KLAX and result is normal trees and buildings, no whiteouts.
