My home airport is CYVR, so I see WestJet aircraft a lot. Honestly, I'd be happy with what you've done already. To my eye, though, since you asked, the green in "Jet" is too ... ummm ... light? I think that you can get a better idea of that specific colour by taking a look at the various WestJet logos on the company's Media Resources webpage that contain the colour.

Barring that, I have some jpegs of WestJet aircraft at CYVR that may help.

OK...going with this....

Anyone know the SECAL for her....or another place I can get accurate SECALS since the site I used for forever is shut down?

@TurboKen...  Thanks Ken..yeah Cancer sucks...and I can officially say that, but I'm hopefully "cancer free" after my operation...fingers crossed and many future tests to make sure I stay that way.

Funny you should mention SWA.....

Steve this looks amazing...

Quick question...   I cannot figure out where to place the livery folder that I download of your re-paints? there is no mention of it in the readme file either. I know its something simple but???

As far as the 737 goes, I just did a quick flight and really like it. The sounds and visuals are amazing.

Its typicallcally placed in: C:\Users\{YOUR PERSONAL FOLDER NAME....MAYBE KEN...or maybe Admin if you're the admin on that PC)\Documents\Prepar3D v5 Add-ons\iFly737NG\SimObjects\Airplanes\iFly 737-800

Then use the iFly config tool to add it to "My Fleet"....better than editing an aircraft.cfg file 🙂

You can get this beta tool... it will download liveries from the library and help place things in the right folder... https://files.100megabyte.com/ifly/GetLiveries1.0.0.0.zip

Just unzip it anywhere on your system. If there are any bugs just post in the iFly forum.

So when I snapped that pic...I could see that the red on both the fuse and engine were too bright.  This paint is not that hard...but getting the colors right always is.  Red in the sim needs to be way darker than what we see normally (must be how the rendering engine and shaders see red.

Anyway...a few adjustments later and this is what I get:
The texture maps 1 and 2 are in view....you can see the original red still on map 2 (The shot above already had one darker adjustment...but just not enough IMO)...quite the contrast huh?   I think the red looks just right now.  THIS is what takes a lot of time in the painting world.  Just need to do the winglets and tail and she's done.

Does anyone know how to keep the sound from muting when losing focus (i.e. moving mouse to a 2nd monitor)?  PMDG has a setting for this but don't see that in the iFLY bird anywhere.

Thanks!

I believe that is also a setting within the P3dV5 Sound settings....

BTW  The TUIfly has been uploaded to the Flight1 library....will probably show up tomorrow. 😉

Thanks Steve but I already have the mute on lost focus deselect in P3D.  It would be some other setting within iFYL like PMDG does it.  This is likely not implemented it seems so I'll have to live with it I guess...a nuicance when sound is lost everytime I move mouse to 2nd monitor for EFB (including checklists).

Hi Greg,

A future update will allow you to unmute all the aircraft sounds when focus it lost on P3D. Some sounds are controlled by P3D sound core and other by the iFly sound core.

It is currently in the workings. no ETA but shouldn't be too long.

Regarding requests....I'm always open for suggestions on liveries, but can't promised anything.  Request away and I'll consider each one and let you know.

Steve, you were very kind to provide me with a BA Chatham House livery for the PMDG737u but it’s not listed on AvSim Library. I’m sure others would like it. Sorry for requesting on the iFly topic. 😉
