Another paint my friend said is ok to show.....Delta AND American!  I have more seat time in those 2 airlines than I care to remember....a LOT of trips back and forth from Dallas to Atlanta.

He said he's still working on this one...and all screens should be considered WIP and in Beta. 😉

"Does it get Navigraph AIRAC updates? "

As with all versions, you need a navigraph subscription to auto update the navdata - which also allows you to use the EFB in the latest version to the full. Now released - details on the Flight One site.

GIT is not needed.

The Goflight software can be enabled to use all iFly types i.e. 737's, 747/8 from the dropdowns for MCPPro and EFIS.

Norm

Sorry, but GIT is required. The option you refer to is simply the instruction to the GoFlight driver to use an external one - i.e. GIT. Unless you install GIT you won't have full functionality for the MCP Pro. That's how it works for the PMDG737 so the iFly won't be any different.

My "friend" was also able to get this one ready before release for all you South American simmers out there:

Who doesn't like orange?  I think it just looks good on a plane....kinda' like a creamsicle! https://www.goodhumor.com/us/en/products/bars/creamsicle-bar.html  😆

He assures me he's got "the painting bug" back into his blood, and will be releasing more liveries for this wonderful package in the future.

For those who have the Goflight MCP Pro is there a program that can interface with it and iFly? Don’t think GIT can.

Does it get Navigraph AIRAC updates?

Hi Ray,

Yes it works with GoFlight MCP and a few other popular brands. You just install the hardware vendors drivers.

Yes it is supported by Navigraph navdata and it now also have EFB with Navigraph Terminal Chart support.

Product is now available.  https://www.flight1.com/products.asp?vid=flt1sf&pid=ifly37adv

GIT was able to with the prior versions, fingers double crossed this one is supported as well.  I remember you could even choose EFIS sides if you had multiple.

Fingers crossed all that support is still there!!

Hi Paul,

None of the support has been removed or changed, so all that worked before should work on this new product also.

So I do not misunderstand you. Do you mean that GIT is a requirement for you personally, or for the GoFlight MCP Pro to work with the iFly aircraft?

I have a GoFlight MCP Pro here, connects up to USB, install their driver, make the product selection in the tool and the MCP Pro works. Nothing extra required.

It's a requirement for all 737 functionality to work on the PMDG such as LNAV, VNAV etc. The basic GoFlight driver will only give you Hdg, V/Spd and the other standard P3D autopilot commands. I imagine it will be the same for the iFly.

If the GoFlight driver worked on specialist aircraft why would Steve write GIT? It works giving limited functionality.
