Disconnects while downloading update?

Featured Replies

Steam updated the base app just fine.  Trying to download the main content at the loading screen and after a few seconds I keep getting "connection lost".  Servers just overloaded?  Never seen this before though I've heard of other having issues over the last  year.  Even more frustrating is it's definitely not my PC.  House has been wired for networking since the last update and my PC has full access to my 1.2Gig connection right now and it's definitely up.

I think their servers are down. Lots of people on the official forums reporting no connectivity in game either.

Figures, this is what I'm seeing, and my xbox login up top goes dark instead of green when it happens

Same here. Just got home from work, looking forward to checking out some of the fixes.  NOPE.

+1.  Tried about 5 times in a row.  Logging out and into xbox doesn't help.

About the same as almost! 🙂

Servers are overloaded.  Wait til 10 PM pacific tonight When the most of the US and Europe are both asleep.

Ugh...looks like tonight will be spent flying the Twin Comanche in XP11 and finishing up the pizza and cheesy bread and red wine with my wife, not in that order!  (Same error BTW...update downloads a tiny bit then dies)
