I thought installing AIG was a bit tricky, adding this too makes me feel Iike I’m getting into quantum physics.

It actually looks super easy, once you have AIG installed that’s the hard part done. Check out that pdf guide above.

I think I’ll try this tomorrow after the big update. I wonder how it communicates with atc (or doesn’t!)

I may give this a go myself this weekend.  Please let us know your thoughts when you check it out.

I will 👍

It looks fairly decent, and I’ve found a support forum here in avsim.

Just curious as to how it works with atc, or, do the ai craft detect my aircraft? How do I slot in to the approaches at a busy airport etc… lots to find out.

What does adding PSXT and RT to AIG do to improve AI?

I’d imagine it stops the aircraft from doing Donuts on the ground for starters? Or all of the super slow taxiing and low flying craft…?

If it makes for realistic AI movements around airports, then it's worth it.

Real Traffic for 60 dollars per year, is that correct?… I think I need to understand a bit more on what that brings to the party for that.

Its the ONLY subscription add on I have and worth every dime.

MSFS has Realtime traffic (well, delayed by a couple minutes). What does RT itself offer over that? MSFS does have AI problems (hopefully some of them will get fixed tomorrow), but it's Realtime Live AI does match up most of the time for me.

Other than matching all tracked aircraft better, nothing really. It doesn't interact with the ATC so it will completely ignore you.

For me personally it's nice for watching, but not to actually fly with.

There is a free alternative to RL, but it's less accurate with aircraft movement.

Besides that, you need to download and install Ivao packages or AIG, pay for a Real Traffic subscription and run bat and exe files every time you want to fly. Lol. Thanks, but no thanks.

1/100th the time it takes for MSFS to load to start screen!! using the exe.xml or FSUIPC.ini, can have it load with startup!

If it loads the RealTraffic subscription for free at startup too I may give a try then. Thanks.
