I have been flying with it off up until su7 not sure if it will help my performance having it on, but looking for tips. Thanks Anthony I run with it off. I don't see the point. I rarely. consistently fly in the same area. Why the wear and tear (and space) on ssd. You cache something, fly somewhere else, cache that, pretty soon your overwriting that with something else. Or- I'm looking at the cache from the wrong end. Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700F CPU @ 2.90GHz (8 cores) Hyper on, Evga RTX 3060 12 Gig, 32 GB ram, Windows 11, P3D v6, and MSFS 2020 and a couple of SSD's

I rarely if ever fly in the same place twice, so to me it is just wear and tear on the SSD.
November 21, 20214 yr I ran with it on for most of the time since release, then decided to see how it affected performance so turned it off for the past month or so. Then I was alerted by Xfinity just yesterday that I had reached my data limit for the month which I didn't even know was possible. 1.2Tb. For another $35 or something monthly for unlimited. So I turned it back on 😀 Noel System: 9900X3D Noctua NH-D15 G2, MSI Pro 650-P WiFi, G.SKILL 64GB (2 x 32GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000, WD NVMe 2Tb x 1, Sabrent NVMe 2Tb x 1, RTX 4090 FE, Corsair RM1000W PSU, Win11 Home, LG Ultra Curved Gsync Ultimate 3440x1440, Phanteks Enthoo Pro Case, TCA Boeing Edition Yoke & TQ, Cessna Trim Wheel, RTSS Framerate Limiter w/ Front Edge Sync. November 21, 20214 yr My wife streams political shows all day long on her iPad & iPhone. We typically watch a movie or series for maybe 3h/evening. I play MLB The Show a few times a week. I'm flying maybe 3-6h per day on average. This has been our usage for many years and as I say didn't even know I had a data limit until yesterday. I need to go back and research monthly data use and see where our average has been. We also have a rental property that we cover internet for and I don't think it's data use is impacting ours but not sure as I say this has never happened before. Addendum: it was the rental property--1.4Tb already this month... That usually works well for me. Just a disclaimer: someone suggested that I delete rolling cache after the SU7 update, but when I did I suddenly had artifacts on my upper 1/3 of the display. I got rid of it by doing a clean install of the latest Nvidia drivers. I don't know why that happened, it has never happened before. They come and go erratically... sometimes it's enough to disable and re-enable TAA to get rid of them. It's a beta. By definition there is no expectation of anything. Complaining about a feature being tested is just complaining, not feedback.

November 21, 20214 yr I just tested the DX12, so far, I can't see any differences, but I didn't expect any Same performance, same visuals, etc. Exactly as the DX11.
