And I think that is the key. The world updates shouldn't be an issue, now they've decided not to include core sim code in them going forwards (which I'm sure was supposed to be the point in the first place, to keep them separate), and, as you say, scale back on the sim updates. Don't rush to release them. Don't set the core sim update release dates in stone.

I can't understand why people simply talking about a hotfix and wondering if we will get one sets some people off so much.

There are also straw man arguments introduced, like we are all 'demanding' a hotfix, or we 'demand' it on the weekend or the first the Monday - not so.
Most reasonable people on here know it isn't always easy, like March Hare says - things take the appropriate amount of time.

I think some people just need the assurance that Asobo are looking at things, and want to know, roughly, when they can expect them to be addressed - that's all - simple reassurance.

Don't start me!    I have a long list but I have always found it difficult to prioritise.

 Yeah there are questions I shouldn't raise but then again I am trying to figure out the darned 104 cockpit and binding my stuff I need to relieve the pressure from time to time .

What we need actually is not a HF, it is a SU 7.5.... or rather, maybe, a SU6 😇

Hot fixes can and often do introduce new bugs so best to avoid them IMO.

So hot fixes can (i.e., might) introduce new bugs and so should be avoided, and unfortunately we have more than ample proof that the scheduled updates will introduce new bugs, so I guess the logical conclusion is to avoid both!   😉

Point being that out of cycle releases can have more negative affects than scheduled ones.

At my last job if there were workarounds we wouldn't touch a hotfix.

Anyway, the grey fog provide great performance in the sim, nothing to render than gray color.
